(1) The North Star (D.Salvatore)

Chapter Three

Mickey is walking with Bonnie and Caroline. They are currently in the Mystic Grill. Caroline has a drink in her hands and Mickey is admiring his nails. His thumb nail is chipped. He makes a face of disgust, and quickly waves his other hand over the nail. The nail fixes itself. Mickey then decides to tune into the conversation. Caroline was discussing the new student.

"His name is Stefan Salvatore. He lives with his uncle at the old Salvatore boarding house. He hasn't lived there since he was a kid. Military family, so they moved around a lot." Caroline smiles and plays with the straw for her drink. "He's a gemini, and his favorite color is blue." Caroline stops. She turns to Bonnie and Mickey with a smile on her face.

"You got at all of that in one day?"

"Oh please, I got all that between third and fourth period." Caroline moves her head, to move her hair over her shoulder. 

"All information I found by the way."

"Hush Mick. Stefan and I are planning a June wedding." Caroline walks away. Mickey and Bonnie share a look and chuckle.

"My sister is a different kind of delusional."

"Tell me about it."

"So, you're psychic?" Mickey asks. He could sense it on her. The aura of a witch. He knew that her psychic powers were mere manifestations of her actual power. Judging by her thoughts and her aura. Mickey has deduced that, she doesn't know she's a witch. Her magic surrounds her like a blanket, waiting to be pulled off.

Interesting. Mickey was here for the drama. And in Mystic Falls, it was a drama play everyday. But right now, the drama levels are high. Matt is worried for his ex-girlfriend Elena. And Elena has just arrived smiling, with the new vampire Stefan. Mickey was in drama heaven. It was too much, but he loved it. Matt and Bonnie turn to look at the two. Tyler and Caroline turn to look at the two. This, Mickey liked alot. Matt gets up and walks over to the two. Encouraging Mickey to quickly slurp up his milkshake and attempt to go over and be nosy. However, Caroline noticed and loops her arm with his and pulls him over to the pool table. Mickey sends her a side glare. Meanwhile Caroline smiles.

Salty Fries. Mickey is currently chewing on some salty fries. The girls and Stefan are sitting at a table and Mickey is sitting at a table beside them listening to their conversation. However, Mickey was currently busy completing the task in front of him. Demolishing all the salty fries. He chokes on a fry and Caroline slaps his back. Making him cough up the fry. Bonnie hides a chuckle. While Elena remains staring at Stefan.

"So, Stefan, if you're new, you don't know about the party tomorrow." Stefan stops staring at Elena and turns to look at Caroline.

"It's a back-to-school thing at the falls." Bonnie adds on. Stefan turns to Elena with a smile.

"Are you going?"

"Ofcourse she is." Bonnie answers. Elena gives her a happy side glance and a smile. She then proceeds to push her hair behind her hair.

Biology. Mickey was currently in biology class. Nothing exciting. Just dead frog bodies. The girls were currently in History with Stefan. Leaving Mickey to be tortured in biology by himself.  Disgust. That was the current expression on Mickey's face. The biology teacher has tasked Mickey and his classmate to cut into the frog's stomach. Something Mickey refuses to do. The scalpel is resting on the table and the frog's body lays untouched next to it. The biology teacher is walking around looking at everyone's frogs. He walks to Mickey and notices the untouched frog and the scalpel on the table.

"Mr Forbes, I see your frog remains untouched." The biology teacher raises his hands. Gesturing to the class. "Everyone has already dissected their frogs."

"I refuse to touch this creature, Mr Ferguson." The biology teacher sighs.

"On the first day Mikhail? You're really going to make me force you to dissect this frog?" 

"You wouldn't dare." Ferguson picks up the scalpel and forces Mickey to hold it. "No!" Ferguson holds Mickey's hand. Ensuring he doesn't drop the scalpel. "No, please don't make me." Ferguson guiding Mickey's hand forces him to cut into the frog. "No!" Mickey pushes the man off of him and grabs his things and rushes out of class. He uses his telekinesis to slam the door shut. He runs into the bathroom and enters a stall. He locks the stall door and cries. Memories flood in. Flashes. Belasco. Demon Bear. The restroom lights flickers. Mickey rocks himself back and forward. He grips his head. Hoping to push the memories to the back of his head. "Stop it. Go ahead. Supid memories go away!" Water sprouts out of the toilet in the stall next to Mickey. Glass shattering. "Stop." The bathroom stall opens up. Arms are wrapped around Mickey and claws are pressed against his shoulder. A paw touches his knee.

"Calm down Mickey. It's fine."

"Meg?" He opens his eyes to see Meg hugging him. "You're wrong it's not fine. I killed a frog." Meg sighs.

"Mick, it was already dead." He shakes his head. Glass shatters again.

"I injured it's body. What's wrong with me." Meg shakes her heand pulls Mickey into a hug.

"You didn't hurt it. That human did. He forced you to. That wasn't you fault.'' She wipes away his tears. "That wasn't your fault. You hear me?" Mickey nods and stops crying.

"What are you doing here?"

"Let's just say, thunder started crackling and earthquakes happened in Limbo." Mickey winces and makes an apologetic face.

"Sorry about that." Meg shakes her head.

"It's fine." The bell rings. "I've got to go." She kisses his cheek. "See you, little dino." Mickey huffs at the nickname.

"That was years ago!" Meg chuckles and disappears into the mirror. Soon her reflection disappears. Mickey sighs and notices the state of the bathroom. He teleports to the back of the school and walks to the front. "I had nothing to do with the bathroom." Azzlo barks in agreement and Lockheed nods. A stuffed animal. Lockheed turns into a stuffed animal and Azzlo runs into the forest. Mickey puts the stuffed animal into his backpack and sighs.
