Frisk was around 16 when they first met Sans and his sister Serif, who were around 17 at the time. Frisk was the sole heir to Toriel's throne...and they hated it.

It had been a rainy day and Frisk, as usual, was getting out of studying . They hated having to do duty with Toriel. If it was with Queen, it would have been a different story.

Queen was one of the royal advisors, strong, brave, charismatic. They were the whole deal. She was the only one who cared about Frisks actual interest, horseback riding and fencing. Two things Queen was incredibly good at. So naturally, instead of Queen actually teaching Frisk how to be proper and posh, Queen was busy wallowing in the mud, and showing Frisk how to properly ride a horse.

Toriel on the other hand, focused on Frisk's studies (not fun). Even so, Toriel was never the one to teach Frisk. She always hired some private tutor while she brewed in her study. Trying to find a way to end the Civil War that had been lasting for over a hundred years. Toriel versus Asgore over the death of their two children. Sadly, that was the only subject Frisk wasn't studying, and the only one that interested them.

The obsession Toriel had with winning the war was astronomical, enough to make her go insane. Forgetting to eat, sleep, and sometimes even forget that Frisk was her child.

But where were we? Ah yes, the first meeting of Serif, Sans, and Frisk.

As I was saying, it was a rainy day and Frisk was getting out of work by sitting by one of many secret exits of the royal gardens, and reading a book.

The walls surrounding the castle were built to have many concealed exits, so Frisk made best with what they had and made time to discover these secret exits, which were also very convenient hiding places. The one where they were at then, was hidden behind a large clump of bushes. It was just a large door that was sadly locked (like all other exits Frisk found).

They breathed in the cold and humid air as Frisk made themselves comfortable on the mulchy ground. The bushes provided them with enough cover to get protected from the drizzle, but no enough for the ground to get wet. So Frisk had their trusty trench coat on, sitting on the tail coats, protecting them from the semi wet ground.

"Trinity, this is a bad book," they sighed to themselves, turning the page. "Although anything's better than nothing,"

"Look, Serif," Sans spat to his sister. "I know I have lied about things like these, but I swear this isn't a joke this time! I swear there is a door there and it did sense skeletal magic!"

"Ya right," she answered. "Just like the time you said Rouxls was giving off skeletal magic,"

"I swear that wasn't a joke! That really did happen!" He said, playfully elbowing his slightly taller sister, who was wearing a white shirt, green scarf, jeans, and comfy looking riding boots. Serif stumbled slightly but caught herself. "Oh come on don't start with me here," she chucked, then suddenly her eyes went black "you'll know who'll win- OW!" She yelped.

During her threat, Sans had summoned a bone, and lightly struck her on the head. "Oh come on! I was monologging!" Serif yelped as she rubbed her skull. "You might have the brawn, but I have the brains," Sans said, laughed. He walked further down the secluded path right outside the wall.
