The broken ending

Whenever I'm lonely I just look up at the night sky and it reminds me that even if your a million miles away from your person they're still out there. The night sky has thousands of stars and they all look so close together but the truth is that they are all so far away from each other but they're still all there share the same beautiful sky. I want to find my star it's been my dream for so long. That one person who I can spend my forever with. I know I know it's cheesy but it's true I'm one of those girls but I just can't help it. "Clementine what are you doing out here?" My best friend Emberlyn says as she walks towards me and away from the party she dragged me to.

"I'm just thinking" I tell her as I stare up into the sky. She sighs and then lays down next to me. My best friend is one of the most amazing people I've ever met she's kind and beautiful she has long curly brown hair that's almost always in a long braid, she's tall and curvy she has brown eyes and she's a total party animal. I'm older then her by a year it's October 2024 and I'm 18 and she's 17 we're at a Halloween party that's why we're dressed  like a stripper. I'm supposed to be an angel and she's the devil but Emberlyn wanted to be 'sexy'. "Why are you out here hiding?" She says in an accusing tone. "I'm not hiding I just needed a break. It's stuffy in there" I said with a sigh. "Fine whatever you say" she huffs as she sits up and looks down at me. I like parties but for some reason I'm just not feeling it tonight. "Sorry guess I'm being a buzz kill" I say as I look into her worried eyes. "Don't apologize it's ok do you want to leave I'm kind of bored anyway" she says with a shrug. " Yeah kind of" I say as I stand up and offer her my hand. She takes it with a smile and then starts dragging me towards the front door.

We're pushing through the crowd when we get separated and suddenly I found myself in the middle of the dance floor dazed and confused. It was chaos and loud music all around me when out of nowhere someone grabbed my arm and pulled me off of the dance floor and out of the front door. I'm standing on the front porch even more confused than I was before I hear a voice but it sounds far away. Two hands reach up and grab my face suddenly I can hear everything I look up into a pair of beautiful green eyes and hear a beep voice asking if I was alright. "Y-yes I'm ok" I stuttered out attempting to get ahold of myself. "You don't seem ok" the hot guy says with concern. I opened my mouth to respond when I was interrupted by Emberlyn "Oh my god there you are I was so worried about you".
