The broken ending

I've been in a lot of pain throughout my life. Mentally, physically, and emotionally I know pain very well. So it was weird when I stopped feeling it. "It's nice to meet you all" Xavier says still so chipper even through all of the awkward silence going on right now. As usual Autumn is the first to recover her cheery demeanor. She slaps one her signature smile turning to Xavier. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to be rude it's really nice to meet you too" she says with such a sweet smile. Autumn is one of my closest friends she's so sweet, kind, and just an all around angel she's also very beautiful she's 5'2 with long straight blonde hair that falls to just below her hip it's usually down but today she has it in a long braid she has dark blue eyes with glasses. The next person to comeback to their senses was her boyfriend Caleb "yeah it'll be nice to have another guy around" he says with a soft smile as he wraps his arm around Autumn to claim his territory and make it clear that Autumn is his girlfriend and that he should keep his distance. I shake my head a little Caleb is 6 feet and he has short dark brown hair blue eyes and freckles.

Next comes Zalena as she returns to her normal calm demeanor. "Hi" she says with an awkwardly adorable wave she's 5'3 she has short blonde hair that falls to her shoulders and she often dyes it she has grayish green eyes that really compliment her personality. She nudges her boyfriend David snapping him back to reality "huh oh sorry hey welcome to the group" he says still seeming a bit out of it he's 5'10 and tan with curly short black hair he has facial hair and brown eyes. Xavier smiles seemingly excited to meet my friends. "You have some great friends I'm glad you have them" he says turning to me and wrapping his arm around my waist. Wow this guy is not shy is he but I on the other hand am. I blush and nod "yeah their all amazing I love them all so much" I say smiling.

Autumn giggles "soooo are you two a thing" she questions pointing between me and Xavier with a mischievous smile on her face. I blush even more if that's even possible and I'm completely unable to reply. Xavier glances at me and chuckles "no we aren't" he replies and Autumns smile drops "but I would like to be" he adds pulling me closer to him so now my head rests on his chest. Autumns smile is ten times bigger then the one she had before. I know that his forwardness should bother me but it doesn't for some reason everything with him just feels so easy and comfortable. I close my eyes snuggling into his chest a little. I can already tell that I'm in for one wild ride with this guy.
