heeseung pov

i sat in pure silence waiting for him. but i was hopeless, i know. why would he even come back? 

i got off my bed and started to get ready for yet another day for university. i was in my second year of university and it was stressful at times. 

i quickly took a shower and brushed my teeth. i grabbed my car keys and jacket on the way out of my house and slung my bag over my shoulder. 

"bye hyung," i bid goodbye to my older brother. 

"have a nice day," i hummed before closing the front door behind me. i pulled my car keys out of my pocket and unlocked my car. 

we might be parentless but that didnt stop my brother from working very hard and earning all this money to support the both of us. ever since mother died, hes been very hardworking and i can tell that hes doing it for us.

sometimes i wonder if i dont deserve him. hes too pure. too kind. i hope that true kindness doesn't lead him somewhere bad. 

i broke out of my chain of thoughts after i arrived at the car park of my university. hypen university. one of the bests that i was gladly accepted into.

i got out and walked around to find sunoo and jungwon, my two best friends. 

"hyung, look oh my gosh," sunoo grabbed my arm out of no where and started leading me to some crowd. 

"isn't he handsome!" he pointed at a tall guy with blonde hair. my eyes looked around and stopped at guy next to who sunoo was pointing at. a somewhat familiar face.

"he is handsome right?" sunoo asked me but my eyes were still glued at him. 

no, there's no way he's back. how can he just reappear after 3 years? 

"i'll be back," i tore my arm away from sunoo and ran into the bathroom. i took some time catching my breath and took a sip of water. 

i looked at myself in the mirror and said,

"heeseung, don't be coward. you can do this, show him what he abandoned," i smirked at myself with confidence boosting above the roof. 

obviously i still was nervous, but i had to play it off.

"heeseung, can i get your number?"

"you're so hot in person!" 

"can we date?" 

"i really really like you!"

i walked through the corridors with the daily disturbance. 

heeseung here, heeseung there. please, i'm tired of it.

"hyung, there's a new boy. he's cute, i can't lie."  jungwon ran up to me with sunoo behind him. 

"yeah i saw, he's not that bad looking i guess," i smiled slightly.

"what's wrong? are you tired?" sunoo frowned, tilting his head in the process. 

"no i'm okay, don't worry," i smiled a bit brighter this time in order to convince them. 

"okay hyung," jungwon tapped on my shoulder. 

"as i was saying, i heard that the new guy is called pa-" some random dude bumped into jungwon while running and looking back. 

"hey! watch where you're going!" i can admit, i got a bit extra, but that was only because i was worried for jungwon. 

"it's okay, don't stress it," the dude who bumped into him turned out to be the guy sunoo was pointing at. 

i looked at sunoo beside me and he was staring straight at the poor boy's soul. 

"stop staring, you might scare him," i whispered slightly and he giggled.

"what's your name? i'm yang jungwon," jungwon being the second social butterfly, just made a friend. 

sunoo is the first social butterfly, no one can take his spot. 

"i'm nishimura riki, you can call me niki though and i'm sorry about bumping into you," he bowed a little and shook jungwons hand which was waiting. 

"it's okay! are you from abroad?" jungwon furrowed his eyebrows. 

"oh yes, i'm from japan," he smiled a little. 

"oh that's cool, we should be getting to class now, see you around?" i started walking slowly. 

"yeah, see you around!" finally, conversation was over. 

"that's the guy that sunoo was telling me about outside," i watched him turn red. 

"ooh, really? i don't think he's new here though, i do know that he's friends with the new boy," i nodded. 

"what's the new guys name again?" sunoo asked to get the topic off niki. 

"ah, something like.." he scathed his head, attempting to remember the name. 

"oh yes! his name is.."

i feel great after leaving u guys on a cliff hanger already, but who do u think 'he' is???
