heeseung pov

i woke up to the sunlight hitting my face.

i squinted at the light, putting my palm in front of my eyes.

i looked around, realising i was still at jake's house.

i heard footsteps walking up the stairs as i got off the bed and ruffled my bed hair.

"oh, you're up! i just made some breakfast and was about to wake you up" he smiled.

"thanks jake, i think my brother should be home by now though" he widened his eyes.

"you can't leave before having breakfast! c'mon, let's go" he grabbed my hand and dragged me downstairs.

i sighed in defeat once again and sat down in the exact same spot as yesterday.

"hope you like pancakes" i smiled, inhaling the aroma.

"i love pancakes, thanks jake. you can come around some other day so i can pay you back for this"

"no need, your company is enough" he sat down and grabbed his fork and started to chew on his pancakes.

i blushed slightly and coughed it off.

he is quite the flirt, isn't he?

let's switch things up.

"wait you have something there" i pointed at his lips as he tried to get it off with a frown.

"ah, hold on" i leaned forward and wiped his bottom lips with my thumb.

"there we go" i smiled and continued eating as if nothing happened.

i could see him blush in the corner of my eyes.

"oh right! i'll give you your clothes back once i wash them, is that okay?" he nodded.

"you can even keep them if you like" i shook my head.

"no it's okay, thank you for the offer though"

we hung out a bit more until it was noon and i decided to go home.

"bye! thank you for this again, i'll make sure to get this back" i winked before walking off, leaving him standing by his doorframe waving at me.

i walked back home and fortunately heedo hyung was home, but on the bad side, he's gonna interrogate me for why i haven't been home.

i knocked at the door waiting for an answer.

a confused hyung opened the door.

"where were you lee heeseung?"

"let me in first! i'm freezing"

he moved aside grabbing a blanket and covering me with it.

i jumped onto my sofa seeking warmth.

"right, now you can ask me"

"where. were. you?" he stood directly in front of me with his arms crossed.

"i was at jake's house" he raised an eyebrow.

"oh yeahhh, i forgot to tell you who jake is!" he calmed down a bit and sat down beside me.

"he's my new friend, i forgot my keys last night so i stayed over with him. he lives a block away luckily"

"were his parents home?" he stared at me with a teasing expression.

"hey! he's just my friend, you're so weird!" i pushed his eyebrow wriggling face away.

"any info on jay?" my smile dropped.

"i take that as a yes, what happened?" he sat closer to me holding my shoulders in a comforting way.
