GUESS WHOS BACK? THATS RIGHT, ME!
I am back after quite a long break, I do admit it was way longer than anticipated, but I'm back now! and I will continue this book whenever I have time! (Literally never) is anyone even still reading this? I just wanna know 😭

Pixal gazed outside the window, tying her silver locks into a sleek bun, whilst she grabbed pots and pans from various cupboards and shelves. Humming melodically to herself, she poured the sugar into the bowl, carefully incorporating small chunks of butter as she went along.
Pixal loved baking, she enjoyed it more than cooking, many people said cooking had to be from the heart, yet, she still couldn't comprehend the suggestion. Baking was calculated, and deliberate, you couldn't afford to make mistakes, that could ruin everything, there was only one perfect scenario, and that sense of clarity was something she found herself often craving.
Finally, she carefully added the batter into the cake pan, making sure it was one smooth layer. She smiled to herself, proud of what she had done, even though there was no way it could have gone any different.

Pixal walked back to the sofa and sat down, mindlessly surfing through channels.

Zane plopped down on the sofa next to her, gazing at her in his usual manner, which, she didn't seem to mind. He admired her as if she were his whole world, and Pixal was OK with that, even though she wouldn't like to admit it, she doesn't mind a bit of attention once in a while.
"Hi Zane!" She says, happier than usual.
"Oh, what's gotten you all excited?" He smirks to himself.
"Nothing really, I have just put some cake in the oven, and I am excited to try it!"

Even though androids like herself don't need to eat to survive, Zane had told her that eating is about more than survival, it's about enjoying the cooking process, the flavours and smells, and the experience of enjoying it with other people.
Even though it had taken a while, and a lot of debating, Pixal had become accustomed not this newly acquired hypothesis, and was incorporating it into her daily life whenever she could.

"Oh alright," He replied, giving her a small peck on the cheek as a pale purple tint appeared.

She continued pressing random buttons on the remote, till she decided it would be better to do something productive with her spare time.

Whilst she walked over to the elevator, she heard a faint ding! coming from the oven, causing her to smile from ear to ear.
She raced over to it, pulling open the glass door revealing the cake that lay inside.
She grabbed the tin and popped the cake on a rack to dry, she was practically squealing with excitement.

"Zane I simply cannot wait!" She screeched.

This was a side of Pixal that he didn't think he'd ever seen before. Someone who could find joy in simple things, and wasn't so; lack of a better word 'Uptight'.
Pixal was usually the member of the team who stayed calm, and stoic. Like a rock you could always depend on in times of need. She always knew what to do; her train of thought like a straight path, with no obstacles on the track but this? This was different for sure.

She completed decorating her cake with buttercream flowers and Candy pearls.
Admiring her creation once again. Noticing the stains of batter and ingredients all over her clothes, she decided to go upstairs and freshen up.

'Hey Zane, What's up?" Jay greeted. He and Cole had just returned from the arcade. Cole displayed an obvious pout on his face; when was he going to beat Jay at prime empire exactly... Never?

"Hi Guys, Dr Powers' movie is about to start, you may want to tune in."

"You know, the thing is." Jay said before shooting Cole an arrogant glance. "His movies are so un-ironically bad that they actually end up being good."

"Hm.. Honestly, I agree. The musical numbers can be quite entertaining sometimes."

"Don't you think so too Cole?. Cole...?"
"Where is that guy..." Jay muttered to himself.

He walked toward the kitchen, which was filled with a vanilla-y sent. Kinda like some kinda dessert..- Oh.

"COLE! What the hell happened to, 'My body is a Temple?"

"Hey! Even. Temples. Need. Offerings. From. Time. To. Time." He said between mouthfuls of cake.

"Haha! Very funny! Now hurry up or you'll miss the movie!" He wined.

"Yeah OK, OK, lemme just leave some behind for anyone else who wants some."

Cole retrieved some Saran Wrap from the cupboard and wove it around the lone piece of cake that remained on the stand.

"HURRY UP!"

"I'M COMING."

God, Jay was impatient.

Showers were refreshing. At least for Pixal anyway. They were a chance to reflect on how hectic days could be at the Monastery, to meditate if you will, it was hard being between all the conflicts in the Monastery. Being the sensible one in a world of chaos. But today wasn't like those days. It was tranquil and quiet. Just her and Zane; basking in each others' love.
But now if was finally to conclude her reflection, and resume her day. And her Cake!

She slid open the panelled door in pure anticipation. Only to discover that her cake, was no more.
There was almost nothing left of it, just crumbs and smears of frosting. Oh! And about a 16th of it in the refrigerator! This cannot be the case. Who could've eaten something that did not belong to them. And thus, this was the Chaos that was living with the World Renowned, Earth-Saving, Vilain-Crushing Ninja.

HELLO HELLO HELLO!!! I have returned grr, low-key I left the ninjago fandom for a while but I'm back. Also I've been watching the show and analysing a bunch of Pixane moments so I can make a head canon/canon facts chapter about literally everything I've found so that might be fun.

anyways bye!! (Hopefully not for long!)
