Unfortunate

Losing Light

Luna almost collapses, but Luffy catches her, she's still faintly glowing and is breathing heavily.

"Luna..!?" Luffy shakes her a bit and it takes her a moment to look over at him, and seemingly even longer to recognize him. Her eyes widen a bit and she opens her mouth, her gaze flickers to his wound and she suddenly looks terrified.

"Luffy...you..!" She reaches up, touching the stinger that was still sticking out of his chest, he cringes at her touch but gives her a wide toothy grin.

"It's alright..! I'm more durable than you are, I'll be fine! Though the venom is slowing me down a bit.." He admits, letting out a tense chuckle. Zoro joins them next to the pile of rocks, the spiders legs sticking out from underneath it.

"Then let's get the fang and get out of here then..." He mutters, helping Luna and Luffy up. They walk a bit further, because of Luna's glowing they can actually see a bit more.

Though Luna wishes she still couldn't.

She thought they were in a cave, and sometimes they were, like with the spider, but then they would walk out on this thin long stone bridge like thing that when she looked over the edge all she saw was pitch blackness, and looking up wasn't any better.

"How big is this building..?" She asks and Luffy and Zoro shrug, sighing Luna decides to drop it. She wasn't really grouped with someone who could explain this stuff.

She keeps her eyes on Luffy, who would stumble every once in awhile and Luna bites her lower lip, walking over next to him and grabbing his arm, steadying him.

"Shishishi..I'm okay.." He laughs when he notices her expression.

"You tripped over nothing just a moment ago..." She points out and his smile falters a bit and he stops.

"...I'm fine..!" He says stubbornly, making Luna sigh and close her eyes.

"But Luffy.." she starts but she hears Zoro curse and opens her eyes, realizing it's pitch black again.

"Oh damn..looks like it wore off.." She says, feeling Luffy's tail wrap around her again.

"Shishishishi.." Luffy just laughs as something thuds somewhere to your right.

"Zoro?" You call out to him but you just hear a muffles groan.

"He tripped." Luffy states and Luna bursts out laughing when suddenly she snorts, that makes her abruptly stop.

Both Luffy and Zoro start laughing at her and her face heats up, but she joins their laughter a few minutes later.

"That was adorable..Shishishi!" The raven haired imp laughs, tugging her waist with his tail, leading her through the cave. As they walk she can hear shuffling behind her, signaling that Zoro was following the sounds of their steps again.

"It was not.." Luna huffs, only gaining more laughter from the imp.

Eventually everything falls silent, the only sounds were water dripping from the ceiling and the sounds of the footsteps. This time Luffy would lead her around things, instead of falling haphazardly into holes filled with water, she can still feel him trip every once in awhile, she would reach forward and grab him, steadying him until he could move again.
