Later on in the day as the sun left and the moon took its place we took the boat out to go find John b.

There weren't many places that he could be. He obviously wouldn't be at the chateau so we check the next best place. The Cameron's mansion.

We glided up next to the massive yacht contemplating our next move.

"What now? We just go up to the front door and ask, 'hey have you seen John b'" JJ asked the group as we looked at the mansion in the distance

"Look he lives at tanny hill now it's plausible, we can play dumb" I suggest

"Play dumb?" JJ questioned not liking my idea

"It's pretty late" pope added

"Look I've never seen John b like that, we should honestly be going to the cops" kie said getting upset

"The cops, yeah and say what kie? 'We're worried about our friend because he went off on a rampage because Ward Cameron killed Big John?' Like they're not gonna believe us" JJ said. When he said it out loud it did sound pretty ridiculous.

Ward couldn't have killed big John, but why would John b lie about that. It doesn't make any sense

"Hey I see ward" pope said holding binoculars up to his eyes and looking into one of the Cameron's window.

We paused and kie took the binoculars to get a glimpse.

"Doesn't look dead to me lets go home" pope said quick to get out of here.

"What?" Kie and I questioned

"Okay obviously mr cameron is fine, and even if John b was here, he isn't now okay?" Pope said basically saying this was a waste of time.

None of us knew what to say so pope continued. "Plus I have the biggest most important moment of my life in six hours"

"Yeah we'll our friend is in trouble" kie said getting upset

"Im in trouble" pope fought back "guys I haven't been home in three days. My dad probably put all my shit on the street by now"

"Okay so that's it" kie said and he paused not saying anything. "In a time of need your just gonna bail? Your gonna walk away" kie continued now yelling. It was clear that this was a fight just between pope and kie and they needed to figure it out.

"Okay, yo guys can we not do this right now?" JJ added trying to calm them down. He took off his hat and walked to the back of the boat.

"Hey I have a scholarship interview in the morning. I can't-" pope continued, completely ignoring JJ's comment. I took a few steps away from them not wanting to be involved.

"Okay well what about John b" kie yelled cutting him off

"Why is it always about John b?" Pope yelled back having a point.

"It's not always about John b. Your so stupid. It would be any of you in this situation" kie fought back

"Oh bullshit" pope said over here

"Guys" I said gently wanting them to stop. I never liked hearing people fight with each other. Especially my friends.

"This is about friendship" kie yelled
"Bring it down" JJ added in a gentle way

"Look this is about pouges for life" kie yelled ignoring JJ

"What about forensic pathology huh?" Pope added knowing that that was his way out

"Forensic pathology" kie repeated in a mean tone not wanting to hear about it

"It's my life, that's everything I've worked for" Pope yelled back. I looked at JJ and we both shook our heads at each other because of the fighting going on.
I sat down next to him gently and rubbed my eyes feeling tired from our long day.
