2 : The Woman in the Tomb of the Snakes

Third Person POV

The Ninja, Master Wu, Misako and Pixel slowly started to stand up.

" I ask again. Where are my hatchlings?! " The Woman hissed as she tried to get out of the coffin. Nya slowly walked towards her.

" Nya! What are you doing?! " Kai snapped. Nya turned to her brother.

" Look, the poor woman is clearly scared and worried. And I think if a boy approaches her she might freak out. She might trust another girl faster. " Nya said, before she was pulled back and Jay walked towards the Coffin.

The Woman hissed as she noticed Jay and and swung at him, narrowly avoiding his face. Jay jumped back in shock.

" Gah! Nope, no thanks. " He said and ran behind Lloyd.

" Told you. " Nya said as she got out of Kai's hold. She started slowly walking towards the Woman.

" Hey, my name is Nya. I'm sorry about him. Would you like some help to get out of the Coffin? " She asked as she held out a hand to her. The strange Woman looked first at her then her hand and slowly extended her own.

" Thank you. I apologize for the scare. The last time I woke up I was being threatened from all sides. " She said.

" That's weird. Anyway, this is Misako. That's Pixel and Zane. My Brother Kai and my Husband Jay. Then Cole and Lloyd and Master Wu. " Nya said as she pointed to everyone individually.

The Woman nodded to each one.

" My name is Calisto Fang, Empress and Wife to Emperor Scar of the Serpentine. May I know where I am? " Calisto asked as she bowed to them, shocking them with her title.

" Your Majesty, it has been a while since you have been awake. You are in a realm called Ninjago. " Master Wu said as he stepped forward. The woman hissed as he did, causing Master Wu to take a step back. 

" Okay, how about we all calm down before we do anything stupid ? " Cole said.

" And why's that ? " Jay asked.

" Because we are being surrounded by snakes that don't seem all to happy with us. " Zane told them as he scanned the room. 

" Uhhh, Your Majesty do you think that they'd listen to you ? As annoying as my brother, husband and our friends can be they are family. " Nya said as she turned to Calisto. 

" I can try. They are guardians, meant to protect me until my husband returns. I do not know if they will listen but I can try. Get everybody behind the coffin. " Calisto told her as she walked past the Ninja and Master Wu. 

They did as she told them too, not being in the mood to deal with snakes again. With each step Calisto took a scale would form and continue onto the rest of her body. By the time she stopped in front of the guardians, she was once again in her snake form. It had changed though. She wore a crown and regal robes, making her out to be the Empress that she was. 

" Stand down! " She hissed at them. The guardians took a moment to recognize her before they knelt down.

" Your Majesty, we apologize. We thought there were intruders nearby and rushed to protect you. " The Captain said as he stood straight again. 

" They are friends of mine, not enemies. Where is the Emperor ? " Calisto asked as the Ninja came out from behind the coffin. The guards all looked at each other nervously.
