3 : The Empress returns

Calisto POV

As we sailed through the skies of Ninjago, my Mind kept going back to the last thing that happened before the Ninja found me. How did they even find me? It's not like we put the Tomb right in the open with a sign pointing towards it. 

I kept walking around the ship, taking in the confusing blinking shields and weird buttons and levers. I didn't dare touch any of them but still watched in awe as two of the Ninja maneuvered effortlessly through it all.

Nya POV

" Okay, so we can all agree that this situation is weird right? " I asked as Kai, Jay, Cole and I were sitting in our Cabin.

" Your not wrong Nya, I mean sure, we've faced all sorts of Serpentine before and have always won or made them our allies but this Empress seems to be a lot bigger than any of this. " Cole said as he put down the book he had been reading. 

" Your not wrong Cole. I mean, She seems really nice but a little off. Like there's something she's not really telling us. " Jay added as he sat up.

" Cut her some slack Jay, we only met her today and you saw how she reacted to us at first. It takes time to warm up to people. Besides, it took all of us some time to get used to each other. " Kai said as he looked up from his comic.

" I guess you're right Kai. " Jay said as he laid down on the floor again. 

Third Person POV

As Calisto watched Zane and Pixal, Master Wu was reading his fathers old notes, trying to find anything resembling a 'Universal Shifter'. So far he had come up empty. He looked up when he hear a knock on the door.

" Come in. " He said as he stood up and turned to the door. Misako entered the room with a Tea set in hand. 

" Chamomile Tea? It seems like you need to calm down. " Misako said as she set the Tea down on the table. Master Wu smiled.

" Thank you Misako, a break and some Tea to calm my nerves may be a good idea. " He said as he sat down again and took the Cup.

" What were you looking for? " Misako asked him as she saw the notes everywhere. Master Wu sighed tiredly.

" I have been trying to find the notes that reference a 'Universal Shifter' but my father's writing is frustratingly illusive and vague. Nothing mentions it and I worry. Everything my father ever recorded should either be here or at the monastery. But the amount of times it had been burned down it may very well be that it was destroyed in the process. " Master Wu said as he stared down into his Teacup, deep in thought.

Misako smiled.

"Now you know how your Ninja feel when you never give them all the information. " She said with a slight smirk on her face. Master Wu smiled and rolled his eyes.

" I suppose I do. Maybe I should work on that. " He said as he took a sip of his Tea.

Another knock on the door sounded. 

" Who is it? " Master Wu called out.

" It's Calisto Fang Sir, may I enter? " The Empresses voice came from outside.

" Yes, do come in. " Master Wu said surprised as he and Misako looked at each other surprised and curious as to what she needed. The door opened to show Calisto standing there, her hands in front of her.

" I believe you have the right to a proper explanation. I may have also overheard some of your conversation from the hallway and I apologize for that. I did not mean to listen. " Calisto said as she bowed her head to them.
