Douma woke up in bed, he looked over and was surprised and confused as shit why his boyfriend Michikatsu was still in bed. Douma had gone out shopping with Daki last night and that's why he woke up late, more specifically at 12pm. Michikatsu was on his phone scrolling on Instagram, Doesn't his work start at 6? Douma thought to himself.
" Michi, why are you sti- " Douma got up and questioned Michikatsu but was cut off by him, " I called in sick. " Michikatsu simply answered while still looking at his phone. " What. You called in sick to watch Instagram reels? That's worse than tiktok! " Douma judged Michikatsu.
" I wasn't feeling well this morning. So i figured I'll just stay at home " Michikatsu told Douma. " What??? " Douma snatched Michikatsu's phone and closed it, placing it aside." Do you have a fever? " Douma said worryingly before putting his hands on Michikatsu's forehead roughly checking his temperature, making Michikatsu turn red. He was pretty sure his fever had just gone higher because of Douma.
" YOU DO!! " Douma quickly got off the bed, almost falling off the bed. Michikatsu just stared at Douma as he ran out of their shared bedroom, Michikatsu heard the water go off and assumed that Douma was getting some hot water, he was right. Douma carefully walked into the room with a cup of water and.. A towel?
" Douma. I am not a child. I don't need a wet towe- " " You don't have a sore throat r-right? No? It's fine! Please drink the water! " Douma said with a worried face.
Michikatsu faked a sigh, " I'm fine. I'm sure I'll get better if I just rest. Don't worry too much. " Michikatsu replied before taking the water. He drank half the water and gave Douma a quick smile.
" Thank you, Douma. "
It was so adorable to Michikatsu that Douma cared so much about him. Michikatsu was often busy with work and rarely had time to spend with Douma except during night time. Michikatsu was always so tired, he had overworked himself too much. Perhaps that's why he got sick.
" Is there anything else you need? " Douma asked. " Yes, " Kokushibo looked at Douma lovingly " you. "
Douma got a bit flustered, " I suppose you'll have to call in sick again if i get sick too. " he giggled
" Of course I will."
