Chapter 14: Third Surprise

A/N: Hi, readers! I just updated few days ago and I usually update monthly but I suddenly am in the mood to update this quickly. And to remind you. This is a little bit long.

Sorry if it's rushed 'cause tomorrow's my first day in school and I'm doomed in no time... Errors are to be expected. I only did this the whole day, that's why.

Slowly opening my eyes I blinked.

Huh? Why can't I open my other eye?

Weird... but my left eye could still see and it was met by an annoying bright light. Just what the hell happened to me? Don't tell me...

I'm blind! My right eye is blind!

I searched my surroundings and it seemed that I was laying on the road. Road. On the fvcking road! Road, people!

Okay, I'm panicking in here. Did I sleep walk and completely fainted on the road 'cause a lot of people are frickin' looking at me weirdly. Oh, shoot. I need to stand up. I don't want any attention! But I don't even sleep walk!

"Call the ambulance!" a man screamed near me; "Nee-san! Nee-san!" then a child's voice calls out beside me. Slowly quirking my eyebrows, which is very painful, it suddenly hit me.

I saved the child that was about to get hit by the overtaking vehicle.

I sat up like nothing happens, like the pain from quirking my eyebrows had disappeared, and faced the child with sky blue hair - reminds me of Kuroko - that's hugging his puppy in his arms. What made me more panicked is that he is crying!

I may hate kids but I can't stand them crying painfully. But annoyingly is an exemption.

I tilt my head on my side and questioned him very worried. I'll try asking him gently so I won't scare him or what 'cause that's what always happens whenever I talk to a kid.

"What's wrong? Are you hur—?!" his eyes widens when he saw me sitting up and after that he suddenly placed down his puppy then hugged me. He didn't let me finish on what I'm about to say to him. Did he just hugged me? Well, of course! Come on, Tori, don't ask the obvious.

His body shakes while he cries saying muffled words that I couldn't catch on. I was sitting there silently, processing what had just happened.

"Kiro, " a guy on his side reminded in panic and the child obeyed as he breaks our hug when he realize he had done. I looked in every part of his body - not in a pervert way - and sighed in relief when I saw no bruise or wound seemed to be on his skin. Well, he's just crying. That's it.

"I-I'm sorry, N-nee-san!" I formed and small smile and ruffled his teal hair. Soft. I wonder why his worried about me when I should be the one who will get worried in this situation.
