Taylor's POV

When I walked up towards our dance teacher and my competition for both the dance battle and over a guy, the palm of my hands started sweating.

Everyone was watching me

including Mark

What if I don't do good? Will people start making fun of me that I'm not as good as Mason in dance? If I do bad will they kick me out of S.M?

My mind started getting filled with questions that sure as hell wasn't going to help me.

Calm down, this is only a dance battle, it isn't like auditions, my future life doesn't depend on this one performance.

Then when I get there, Tony walked to the wall, and Hina and I started facing each other.

A cool beat started and I didn't know what to do so my opponent started dancing first.

and dang she dances good

She started by doing a kinda go-with-the-flow kinda dance and it worked out for her.

Thing is, if i do that, I'll look like Rap Monster Oppa trying to dance.

I mean I love him and he's talented, but he can't dance unless its choreographed.

Then, Hina did a front flip and pushed me back.

RUDE

That got me so pissed off that I went up to her and pushed her too, harder.

She kinda stumbled from that, and I decided to start dancing.

I can't really explain to you what I did, but I know I looked cool.

How?

Everyone was looking at me with wide eyes, not expecting the dance from only a rookie.

Hina was surprised

Mark was surprised

EVEN MASON WAS SURPRISED

I'm kinda offended that Mason was surprised though because that means she underestimated her best friend.

I'm gunna hit her head later.

Anyways, after that Hina lost her composure and just stormed off.

I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING BESIDES SLIGHTLY PUSHING HER AND DANCING!

"Uh-er, I guess- HYOJIN WINS!" Tony said after Hina slammed the door behind her and Herin ran after her.

Everybody started clapping for me ,and I dont mean to sound conceded, but I wanted to clap for myself.

I mean, I made Hina run off, I would clap for anyone who would do that to be honest.

Anyways, I got so thrilled after that.

I mean not ONLY did I beat Hina, but I ALSO won boba tea!

AWWWW YEAHHHH

I wanted to start doing the shuffle right then and there but I decided to save it for another time.

Then I walked back to Mason who was standing there, slow clapping with a mischievous grin plastered on her face.

"Congratulations," she said after she stopped clapping.

"Thank you, I'm very proud of myself," "Really?" "OBVIOUSLY!! I beat someone at DANCE, not singing, DANCE!!" "Well-" Mason got cut off but Jay who was announcing the next battle.

It was Jeno vs. some guy I didn't know.

Their battle kinda took long but in the end Jeno won.

So for most of the time after that, it was just random people that have been training way longer than us.

Finally, it was Mark, someone we actually knew.

Of course he won as well.

Then, Tony announced the next people.

"And, last but not least, Herin, the dancing prodigy, vs. Suji, the girl who even surprised our CEO when she auditioned!"

A/N: Sooo sorry about the really short chapter and that I barely ever update. these days it's harder because I'm making a new story that I probably won't publish until wayyy longer into the year because I'm writing it before I publish it, but don't worry because I will still be trying to get this updated faster.
