Chapter 2

Camry's POV

I sat in the back of the car as Izzy drove to the hospital. Kian and I were celebrating our six month anniversary in Florida, when my water broke. We originally weren't going to travel so close to the due date, but we really needed some time away. We needed time away from everything at home, all the hurt and pain. Kian grabbed my hand, but later found out that was a bad decision. I squeezed Kian's hand hard as another contraction passed.

"Camry, your squeezing a bit to tight" Kian said as he made a painful face.

I quickly pulled my hand away.

"I'm sorry Kian, I didn't mean to" I looked up at Izzy and gave her a look to go faster.

"Don't be sorry Cam" He said softly.

He pushed the hair out of my face, and lightly kissed my forehead. We still have about ten minutes until we get there. Izzy happened to be in Florida about twenty minutes away from our condo, so we decided she should drive us. I prayed that our baby would be born in California, where she will spend most of her life. But I guess she was meant to be born in Florida. We pulled up into the hospital as Kian helped me out of the car. We walked in the hospital and the nurses put me in a wheel chair. They took me into a delivery room, there was so many monitors and cords.

"This is real, it's actually happening!" Kian spoke as he walked around the room.

I grinned at my husband and the thought of my beautiful daughter being in our arms. The monitor beeped signaling another contraction. I held the side of the hospital bed as the nurse checked mine and the baby's heartbeat. Kian looked away as she put the iv into my arm, he knows I hate nettles. As the nurse cleaned up my arm, she asked me a couple of questions.

"Do have a name for her?" My nurse asked as the contraction faded away.

Kian and I didn't take long to find a name for her. After about three months of being pregnant, we had the name. We named her KensLeigh and her middle name from my sister who passed away. Her name was Rain.

"KensLeigh. KensLeigh Rain Lawley." Kian responded to the nurse.

"That's a beautiful name. I know she will make you two very happy people" The nurse responded.

She left the hospital room, leaving Kian and I in the silence.

"So... Have you talked to Jc at all?" I asked as I rubbed my stomach.

Kian nodded his head and sat in the chair beside my bed. He flashed me a smile.

"Him and his wife should be having there baby pretty soon" Kian said as he smiled.

I wish Kian and Jc were as close as they used to. After Jc and Kian both got married, they didn't talk as much. I have met Jc's wife, Taylor. She is a extremely sweet person, even though I have only met her once or twice. We attended their wedding, and they came to ours. I think it would be nice if we were all closer, especially with their baby and KensLeigh being almost the same age.

"You're should give them a call when we get home" I said as I felt another contraction.

They where getting closer and closer and 17 minutes later, I was holding little KensLeigh in my arms. They let me hold her, then they took her away to fix her up and get her dressed. Kian wiped the tears away from my eyes. I smiled at him, KensLeigh was a happy heathy baby.

"You did it" Kian whispered as he lightly kissed my lips.

"We did it" I said back.

The next morning, I woke up I looked over to my right to see KensLeigh peacefully sleeping. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of Kian and I finally having our family. I tried to imagine what KensLeigh would look like sleeping in her bed, next to her little stuffed animals. I wanted to take her home right this minute but I knew we didn't have to stay much longer. We should be released from the hospital later today. I thought I would be much more sore than I was. The only thing that really hurts is my head. Kian walked in the door with two coffees. He smiled as he handed me one.

"Thanks babe" I said as I took a sip of my coffee.

I set my coffee down, then picked up KensLeigh. I fixed her little bow. KensLeigh looks more like me and Kian combined then just one of us. Kian kissed her forehead then my lips.

"I will go get us breakfast. Do want anything in particular?" He asked.

"Nope. I'm good, thank you."

Kian smiled at KensLeigh and I and then left the room to get breakfast. I decided to feed KensLeigh. As I was getting her bottle I noticed someone walked by who looked exactly like Jc. I shook my head in disbelief, Jc is in California. I continue to feed KensLeigh and push the thought aside. I looked down at my beautiful little girl. I decided we would go home to California as soon as possible, so everyone could meet her. Kian called his family and I will decide how to tell mine when we get back home. I looked down at KensLeigh and she was sleeping, peacefully. I set her down and decided to get to sleep and when I woke up, I could take KensLeigh home, and we could begin her life. In California.
