It has been a month since Ezra was in the world between worlds. And since then, nothing has happened. No missions, no distress calls, no nothing. The Ghost was floating around an astroid field near Lothal, to have time to recover from all the previous missions Ezra supposed. Well, not that he talked to the Ghost Crew. He liked staying in his room around the ship, no one to talk to, no one to judge you, no one to explain things to. He knew it may feel like he was back to square one, but frankly, he didn't need anyone to survive. It was just like what it was before, just him and his mind working together. He didn't expect the others to understand what he went through in the world between worlds. He saw the Emporer, and Kanan's death for a second time! What he couldn't stop thinking about was how he rescued Ahsoka. That bird... it showed him where she was. They must have some connection. Maybe, he has to find it to find Ahsoka, yes he has to find-
Bang, bang went his door. Ezra sat up. "Chopper I know it's you" Ezra sighed. These days he kept his room locked. Chopper made a series of beeping noises, he was pretty sure Chopper said: "You know I can just unlock by plugging into the socket right?" Ugh, he forgot about that. "Just leave me alone, What do you want, did Hera send you?" he asked as he banged his fist against the wall. "Well it's not my fault your being grumpy," Chopper said as he rolled off. Ezra sat back down on his bed. He knew he was being stubborn, but he didn't want to comply. Moments later he heard footsteps and a knock on his door
"Ezra, please come out you've locked yourself in your room for weeks, you've hardly even eaten anything," Hera said. He knew Chopper would get her, He didn't want to speak with Hera right now. "Ya well what if I'm not hungry," he said. "I know Kanan's death was hard, but it's been- ... I don't even know if it is about Kanan's death because you were hardly like this before," she said sternly "This is NOT just about Kanan's death, I saw the emperor in the world between worlds for heaven's sake you don't know half the things I've seen!" he didn't mean to blurt that out right in front of Hera, but it just the words just tumbled out of his mouth. "okay," she said, "your right I don't get it, but please come out soon. We have a new mission, you haven't been on one with us in ages." "Not like you would tell me" Ezra mumbled.
He then punched the wall again and laid down on his bed after Hera left. Deep down, he knew that he didn't like being alone, Zeb didn't even sleep in his room anymore. He looked at the picture that Sabine painted on the wall and sighed. 'I guess I will have to go on this mission. If it means that maybe I can find that bird and Ahsoka after.' he thought. Ezra stared at the picture for the rest of the night.
