Chapter 8 - Under Control?

Few minutes later, Makayla walked up to Kylie. Looking at her, then Kylie turned to Makayla. Bending her knees down. She titled her head, looking at her with a puzzled expression. Makayla smiled, then she giggled.

"Hm?" She mummered, confused. Still.

"Isn't that Max, don't you remember him?" Asked Makayla.

Kylie turned to Max, then turned to Makayla.
"Not really..."

"Pay attention..." Makayla replied.

She squinted her eyes, then gasped. Feeling herself shrink into the little Kylie. The short one, the one with pink hair. Max used to know her, not corrupted Kylie. 

"Max?" She mumbled.

"Yeah, He's hurt." Makayla spoke.

Kylie gasped, running to Max. She picked him up and went to the wall. The brown brick wall, she placed him down. Makayla ran as well; she caught up with them. Which is good...

"Is he alive or awake?" Asked Makayla.

"I don't know...But I just hope that he's okay." Kylie replied, not giving Makayla eye. contact.

Makayla looked at Max, with a straight face. Then she turned to Kylie, a little sad...Pretty as if she was going to try to help and comfort her at least.

Max opened his eyes, slowly. Then closed them quickly, Kylie gasped. She looked around quickly, then shook him....

"Max?" She asked.

He didn't reply, just with his eyes closed. But she knew he was alive, he was breathing softly...Kylie thought he was cute, it was true. She loved it.

"Just take him to the house, so far. No sign of the corruption." Makayla replied.

"Alright..." Kylie sighed, heavily.

"I'll go to the squad, I know where they are hiding..." Makayla, replied. Walking away. 

Kylie grinned, then she carried Max. Putting him on her back, then she walked away...Soon enough, Makayla has found the squad. They were all chattering and wondering where Kylie and Max were. Kai thought that they were making out, which is so not true.

"Where are they, we need to go home real soon..." Kiki spoke.

"Yeah, I know. They might be on their way soon." Avery replied.

"Then they shall appear." Bailey spoke.

Kylie had Max on her back, smiling.

"Why are you smiling, did you have a moment. With Max?" Asked Kyleigh.

"No, He probably passed out. But he's alive though...." Kylie replied.

"How'd you know he passed out?" Asked Bailey, confuzzled.

"He opened his eyes slowly, then closed them." Kylie replied, "How exactly would you know?"

"Don't know..." Bailey mumbled.

"Well, let's just go home..." Asked Lydian, taking her phone out. To check the time.
"It's about to be 10 pm..."

"Oh sh!t... We need to go!" yelled Kai.

"Yeah, that's what I was saying!" Kiki squeaked.

"Mhm, we heard you. We ain't death." Kai chuckled.

"Yeah right." Bailey replied.

~ At Home ~

"At least the house, looks fine. We didn't have all the corruption at our house, it's amazing." Kai sighed.

"Yeah, well I'll wash my hands. Watch some Tv too probably." Lydian chuckled.

"Alright, sounds good. Matter of fact, we could all watch Tv. Let's just settle in." Kai replied.

"Yeah, sounds good." Kiki replied.

Kylie grinned, with her eyes cheerfully closed. She had Max in her back again, then she was about to walk upstairs. With Max.

"Kylie, are you watching Tv with-

She stopped Lydian, putting her hand on her. mouth.
"No, I'll go upstairs with Max. I need to take care of him...."

"Oh yeah...Alright, you can come down. Probably when your done with him?" Asked Kiki.

"No, I want to stay up there with him. Alone..." Kylie chuckled.

Lydian winced, looking at Kiki. they both shrugged each other's shoulders. They both looked at Kylie, then nodded. Quickly.

"Alright, then..." They both replied.

She smiled, then walked upstairs. With Max, still sleeping on her back.

~ Upstairs ~

Closing the door, then putting Max on the bed. She went to the bathroom.... Then closed the door, to wash her hands. Before she did some stuff, with Max. 

Once she was done, she walked out of the bathroom. Air drying her hands, smiling. Titling her head...
