E.X POV

89 stared at me and started to aim the cannon that she was holding.

"Oh shit."

I ran to the side as the wall I was leaning on exploded from the cannon ball. The bricks flew everywhere, grazing my ankle.

Better leave this area.

I sprinted past her and went back to the elevator, zooming inside and pressing a button as the doors closed.

Hold on, what'd I press?

I looked at the glowing button. It was floor 6. Darn! Room 77 is on floor 7!

I could explore floor 6, or just, wait and press the floor 7 button. Nah. I'll press floor 7.

Ding!

The doors opened and I immediately pressed the next button to move up a floor.

Ow, my foot hurts like fuck.

Ding!

I walked out of the elevator and scanned the walls for room 77, avoiding some wet floor signs with puddles of black goo.

Who put those signs there, anyway?

As I walked towards Room 77, I heard a sloshing sound in the same direction. Uggh.. not again...

As I approached the source of the noise, I realised it wasn't another tsunami. It was a bucket, and someone was dipping a mop into it. I would've said 'water bucket' if it was water. It was purple liquid- like the antidote Void gave me.

The person dipping a mop into the bucket had blonde hair and blue eyes, with a pink themed outfit. Their mop was pink, and they had a trolley of some sort that was also pink, and it had all kinds of cleaning supplies stored on it.

"Hello?"

"Hi there! Can I help you?"

"Um, hey. What're you doing?"

"Cleaning this black goo! It's disgusting."

"Yeah, but- who are you?"

"The Goddess of Hygiene, Soap! Nice to meet you!"

"I'm- I mean- just call me E.X. Nice to meet you as well."

"What're you doing in this place? How'd you even get in? I mean, you're a kid, right?"

"I'm sixteen."

"You're short."

"This is a twelve year old version of my body."

"Oh."

Me and Soap stared at each other for a few seconds.

"I'm sure I've seen you somewhere. Your face is oddly familiar to me."

"Do you know Clover?"

"Oh yeah, Clover! The luck goddess! She left a few days ago, because of the whole black goo stuff."

"Uughh.."

I sighed.

"Why, are you looking for her-"

"Yes. That's the whole reason I'm here."

"Oh. Sorry about that. She did say something about going to an amethyst cave, though. Why don't you check the crystal cave in the forest?"

"Thanks. Can I just, like, break a window?"

"Sure!"

I walked over to a window and broke it with the knife from my bag, before jumping through it.

I landed without breaking any bones again.

Lucky me!

I checked behind me and saw Soap waving goodbye.

"Bye!"

I walked off into the forest yet again, searching for that 'Amethyst Cave.' Soon, I saw something glistening in the sun. It was a crystal growing out of a cave. That must be it!

I walked in and had a short look. There was some more crystals, a purple yoga mat and a pillow. Weird.

My foot then stepped on something, and there was a loud clicking sound.

Another area of the cave opened up!

I walked down through the new area that opened up- this area had furniture. Someone lives here.

Well, time to call out and be dumb!

"Clover?" I yelled.

There was a faint crashing sound of glass.

Then footsteps.

Those footsteps were quiet and and moderately close together. That's the sound of Clover skipping.

"Hi, E.X!"
"Hi, Clover."
"What're you doing here?" she asked.
"I uhh- have to stay in.. your world."
"Oh. Well, you can stay here with me, Cabby, Music and Paintbrush!"
"Who?"
"Cabby, the goddess of files and info. Music, the goddess of music. Paintbrush, the god of art."
"Nice. Also, who's that?"

I pointed to a counter-kitchen area where a girl was sitting, staring at the roof.

She had brown hair and her face was just a black void, with blue themed clothes and a tear on her face, but it didn't move. It just sat there.

"Oh, that's the goddess of Silence, TD! She's thinking about the meaning of life. The counter at the hotel is covered in the black goo stuff, so she's thinking here instead!"

"That's nice. I suppose."

"You should go say hi! She's pretty cool."

"Okay, thanks. I will."

Clover left and I walked over to the counter.

"Hello."

I said. TD looked at me and stared.

Hold on a second. Isn't that one of the agents?
