recently, i've been hearing noises coming from my sister's room late at night.
i didn't think much of it since she stays up a lot, but it was extremely annoying.
at this point, i was so annoyed. i slammed her door wide open not knowing it was unlocked.
...
kinda wish i didn't do that now.

the door was open.
what lies ahead of akito is a trashed room with crumbled paper artworks, a broken canvas,
and ena shinonome, curled up in the floor, not knowing what to do.
she didn't notice akito bursting into the room, she was lost in her thoughts.
until akito called her name.

Akito : " ena..? "

ena immediately noticed that voice and turned her head up to see akito standing infront of her.
her eyes widened, 'what was he doing here in my room?' was her first thought.
he was the last person that she wanted to see in her room.

Ena : " w..what..? what the hell are you doing in here?! "
she stood up and shouted at akito.

Akito : " ...you we're making a commotion, i could barely sleep. "

Ena : " that doesn't mean you can just go into my room like that!! dumbass!! "

Akito : " oi, who are you calling dumbass? "

Ena : " just get out!! get out now idiot!! "
ena walked towards akito and started pushing him to the door.

Akito : " hey, hey! what are you- "

Ena : " GET OUT!! "
she shouted loudly, and akito's eyes widened.

Akito : " wait ena-... "
akito was at the doorstep, and ena immediately closed and locked the door.

akito had never seen ena in that emotion before.
sure, they fight frequently. but she has never tried to keep her away from akito that hard.
this may be a suprise for akito, but for the first time in forever...
he was worried about her.

the next day. it was saturday, 7 am. akito was leaving to practice with vbs.
then, akito saw ena talking to their dad.
it was quite unusual for ena to be speaking to her dad, or was it another fight? 
akito was still quite worried about last night, what could ena be up to now?

Dad : " ena. where are you going? it's unusual for you to be up this early."

Ena : " ..why should i tell you? are you going to still keep saying that i have no talent? "

Dad : " it's not like that, i'm just asking on where you're going. "

she opened the front door and left without saying a word.
her dad sighed and saw akito, listening to the conversation.

it was silent for a moment, until akito's dad said something.
Dad : " akito, i am worried. if she stays on this path for too long... who knows what might happen to her. "

akito leaves the house and goes to the park, where vbs usually practices.
suprisingly, akito was the last one to arrive.

they begin practicing and singing their hearts out, everyone was flawless.
after practicing, they took a break and headed over to street sekai where meiko's cafe is.

Meiko : " welcome, everyone! "

An : " ohayo! "


Len : " hmmmp... hmmp... "

Kohane : " len? what's wrong? "

Len : " well... i haven't seen rin today at all! "

Toya : " really? did something happen between you two? "

Len : " i don't know.. there's something up with her and it's making me worried! "
" i searched everywhere looking for her this morning and i still haven't found her yet! "
" even luka looked for her, and she's still nowhere to be found... "

Kaito : " cheer up len.. i'm sure rin will come back soon, she wouldn't leave you like this. "

An : " yeah! i'm sure rin is going to come back, don't worry too much! "

they all sat down and ordered what they desired.
an had pancakes with whipped cream and blueberries.
kohane had a vanilla milkshake with ice cream on top.
toya had a sweet matcha mochi.
akito had a simple coffee.

An : " akito? your just going to get a plain simple coffee? "

Akito : " ..what's wrong with that? "

An : " that's kind of boring.. "

Akito : " i don't really care. "

an sighed and kohane chuckled

 after finishing their meals, they talked about their next performance.
but akito was spaced out, thinking about something else.

Akito's POV
" ena.. is her room usually like that? no, i don't think so.. "
" why was she like that? was she struggling that much with her art..? "
" the way she shouted at me.. what's going on with her? "
" i just can't get her off my head...- "

An : " akitoOOO!! "

Akito : " gah! what is it?? "
akito snapped out of it

Toya : " you we're spacing out.. is there something on your mind, akito? "

Akito : " oh, it's fine. it's nothing. "

An : " you say that it's nothing but... at practice, you we're spacing out too. "

kohane nodded

he stayed silent for a while.
he didn't want to admit that he was worried about her.
but at the same time, it was too late.
so he sighed, and explained the situation.

Toya : " i see... your sister huh? "

Kohane : " have you tried talking to her..? "

Akito : " i don't think she would like to talk to me right now, but i guess i can try. "

it has been a few decent hours, and its now in the evening.
they left the sekai 2 hours ago, and akito was about to head home.
while he was heading home, he spotted a girl with pink hair and a red ribbon tied on her side ponytail.
she spotted akito, and walked towards him.

Mizuki : " hey! lil' bro!! "
akito recognized that voice, it was akiyama mizuki.

Akito : " huh? it's you.. "

Mizuki : " have you seen ena? i'm trying to look for her right now. "

Akito : " ..ena? why are you looking for her? "

Mizuki : " we we're meeting up with our squad today, but all of a sudden when she went to the bathroom, she disappeared! "

Akito : " disappeared..? "

Mizuki : " yeah! we went to the bathroom stalls and searched everywhere, but she wasn't there! she didn't text us about leaving early either... "

after he was done, he wanted to check up on ena, but wasn't sure if she was there.
did she even want to see him right now?

there weren't any noises this time, it was quiet.
he was hesitating for a moment until...
