Avery

The God of mischief

Could it have possibly been the weather that was setting Avery off? The quick change from rain to sun? no of course not something so silly couldn't  affect her mood drastically.

"Avery are you sulking because the sun is out?" Bruce asks smiling at his sister who was emotionlessly looking at her papers.

"I just hate this weather and i hate when the weather tricks me, i wish i could control it" Avery says with her hand under her chin looking up to meet her brothers gaze

he chuckles softly and sits next to her "careful what you wish for" and Avery playfully rolls her eyes looking back at the paper she was writing on.

After sitting in silence for a moment, Bruce's friend Tony walks in. Avery could say friend but she'd be lying considering she thought of him as an arrogant piece of crap.

"Avery, Bruce" Tony announces loudly  and makes a little wave gesture making Avery roll her eyes.

"Did you need something?" Avery asked with fake concern and giving him a little smile

"I mean if your volunteering yourself.." he questioned which made both Avery and Bruce cringe

"Dude I'm right here" Bruce says with a hint of disgust looking at Tony who just shrugs in response

"Okay but do you actually need something or did you just come down here to be a man whore?" Avery asks quirking her head to the side

"actually...yes" he says fiddling with a Tablet and tapping things then handing it to Bruce

Avery jumps from the seat she's in "what is it" Avery asks trying to look over bruce's shoulder but he keeps moving so she can't see which makes her frustrated

"Loki is not returning to Asgard?" Bruce asks looking at Tony confused with a frown

"what! why? where's he going?" Avery shouts out looking at the two men who are staring back and forth to each other as if they have there own secret language

For a minute Avery thought about where Loki could be going. A super high tech facility? No he could definitely escape there right? Still staring at the two tony pulls his gaze away from Bruce and looks back to Avery

"He's actually going to he staying here." Tony says in a calm tone which makes Avery stare even harder at him if possible.

"What!" She exclaims and starts rambling about how that's a bad idea and how he should be sent back to Asgard but Tony and Bruce have blocked her out having there own side conversation

"Listen it's fine okay? Plus there's a good side" Tony starts

"Nothing with Loki should end a sentence with good side" Avery complains

"Can I finish?" Tony asks and Avery nods in response "Fury has asked that he stays on your floor and you watch him" Avery's jaw dropped. She wasn't exactly baby sitter material but her first assignment!

"But wait, don't you remember he tried to kill me?" Avery asks in a concerning tone staring at her brother and tony with a confused face

"Dear, he tried to kill all of us" Tony pointed out making Avery scoff

"Yeah but Natasha and Bruce are also on that floor" Avery tells him which makes him roll his eyes as if he didn't already know that

"Yes but don't you remember they are going on a mission in a couple of days and when they get back they have to go straight to shield for probably like another week so you'll be with Loki for majority of the time Alone" he revealed with a small smirk on his lips and he fixed his posture
