Hello everyone! This is my second ever fanfic, so don't judge. Also, these characters will be upscaled to 18 and UA will be more of a college than a high school, as I feel like them having more freedom gives this story more potential.

"Hah, this nobody? He'll never help anyone!" A mysterious voice laughed. Pain filled my entire body and coursed throughout, more potent and prominent even than the blood in my veins. "Who... are... you..?" I managed to muster out through labored breaths. "I'm your worst nightmare!" The voice boomed, and then laughed. I shot awake, glancing down at my hands and feet to see no bruises or scratch marks. Another nightmare, who would've seen that coming.

My name is Izuku Midoriya, yes that Izuku Midoriya. Prodigy of All Might, formerly quirkless, hopeless with woman, Izuku Midoriya. Go ahead and laugh it up because I know I'm a joke, a nobody. One day that won't be the case, one day nobody will be able to laugh at me, I know it! Although right now, I don't believe it. I went from quirkless to the dorms of UA pursuing my dreams as a pro hero and yet I can't even stop getting bullied, life is so cruel sometimes!

I decided to drop the pity party and actually get out of bed. After I'd changed out of my All Might pajamas, brushed my teeth, and fixed my hair, I stepped into the common room of the dorms, where chaos was in full swing. "HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!" Bakugo, my bully, screamed as he threw a Gamecube remote across the room. I ducked quickly as it flew rapidly towards my head, fueled by pure rage. "Calm down, bro!" Kirishima defused his one-sided best friend as he quickly skipped through the match results in Super Smash Bros. Melee. "YOU ALWAYS CHEAT AT THIS DUMB GAME! LET'S TAKE THIS OUTSIDE AND FIGHT LIKE REAL MEN, NOT DAMN NERDS!" "Whoa, not cool man! I don't think gamers are nerds, but I'll never say no to a chance to train!" He smirked, preparing for what he didn't know yet was an ass-kicking. I sighed and made my way towards the communal fridge and looked for a small plastic box with 'Midoriya' written on it. I sighed, as it obviously was gone. "Man I sure love eating food, I HOPE WHOEVER ATE MY FOOD ALSO ENJOYED IT!" I shouted out. Enough was enough, it was time to start getting my own storage.

I grabbed my wallet and a jacket and made my way down the street to a local electronics and appliance shop and purchased my own mini-fridge. I hauled it by myself all the way back to the UA dorms and installed it. "Perfect, now nobody will touch my stuff." I smiled and rubbed my hands together maniacally. "Hey, Deku!" A familiar voice chirped, sending a chill through my spine. That voice belonged to none other than my best friend, Ochaco Uraraka. A head quickly followed the voice as she peeked into my opened door. "Whattttcha doiiiiiiing?" She dragged out. "Oh, hey Uraraka! Just getting a fridge so people will NOT EAT WHAT BELONGS TO ME!" I shouted, hoping whoever was at fault for the disappearance of my sustenance would hear. "Ooooh, I've been meaning to get one of these! I'm just struggling with money." She quietly murmured the last part, yet it still fell upon my ears. "Well, you can use mine if you'd like!" I offered, prepared to sacrifice my new fridge for her. Her eyes lit up and she hugged me. "Deku, you're the best!" She smiled. I hugged her back and frowned while she couldn't see my face. Obviously I enjoyed the hug, but it was only friendly much to my dismay. She pulled away and invited herself to sit on my bed.

We chatted for awhile, until Ochako spoke up. "Man, I'm hungry." She sighed and rubbed her stomach. "Why don't we go eat? On me, of course." I winked at her to which she lit up. "Deku! What would I do without you? Let's go!" She smiled and grabbed my hand, taking off running. "Slow down!!!" I shouted, trying my best not to trip. We went out to get some mochi and made our way back to my dorm, not without Uraraka chowing down on both mine and her own mochi. "Deku it's so good! Thank you so much!" She grinned widely and contagiously. She looked down at her watch and gasped. "Deku! I have to go see Mina, I promised I'd listen to her talk about boys! Can I catch you later?" She asked. "Of course, I need to run some errands anyways..." I pouted slightly as the lie left my lips. "Okay! See you later!" She hugged me and ran off. "Dangit Izuku!" I whisper-shouted to myself as I watched her walk away. I wanted to spend more time with her, what if something happened to her or she met another boy on her walk? Not like she'd liked me anyways so why does it matter? Wait, what IF she got hurt? I'd never forgive myself!

I decided to myself, I'd watch her on her way home without her knowing. It's not like what I was doing was bad or anything, I was just being a good friend. A good... friend... I sighed as the realization set in: that's all I'll ever be to her.

Surely that doesn't matter, right? Who cares if I'll only ever be Ochako's friend. That alone is enough for me. I made up my mind, I had to follow her. I stayed a good distance behind her yet hopped from rooftop to rooftop using my powerful quirk, One For All.

-Ochako's POV-

I feel so bad for ditching Deku, he was really doing everything for me and being extremely generous and kind! I hope he doesn't think I'm using or taking advantage of him. I just really needed to be there for Mina, if I wasn't she'd never let me hear the end of it! I made my way back to the dorm and opened the door. "Hello!" Asui greeted as I walked into Mina's dorm. "Sorry I'm late, girls, I was with Midoriya-" I paused and my face froze as I realized the ammunition I just gave them. "You. Were. What." Mina grinned devilishly from ear to ear. This was going to be an incredibly long night. "You've liked that Midoriya for how long now? Why will you just not tell him?" Yaoyorozu asked, to which I sighed. "I-I-I don't know, I just don't know why. That boy has a grip on my heart and won't let go but I can not find it within me to tell him! I wish I could just tell Deku I like him!" I shouted and closed my eyes, squeezing my hands into tight fists and stomping the ground. I was met with silence. I slowly opened one eye and saw all of the girls with their jaws dropped facing towards the door. It was at that moment I realized that I did not close the door. It was the very next moment that I realized Mina's room was right next to the common area. It was the next moment after that that I realized Deku was in the common room.

Everyone stared through me like I was as clear as Hagakure.

-Izuku's POV-

It was late, since I'd already followed Uraraka home, I sat in the common room with my headphones on watching a video essay on one of my favorite American bands, Green Day. I was deep into my video when I looked up and saw every girl in class 1-A running around and shouting like chickens with their heads cut off. I pulled out one of my airpods and looked around. "What the heck is going on here?" I asked and chuckled, amused by the sight of everyone freaking out. "Well, Uraraka here was just talking to us about-" "ABOUT NOTHING IS WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT!" She screamed to cut Mina off and covered her burning red face with her hands, causing her to float all across the room as she continued to cover her face. "What's her problem?" I chuckled. "Her problem is that she likes some boy who's too stupid to catch on to hints. I'm going to my room." Jiro scoffed. "What's her deal?" Mina asked. "She ships it but neither of the people she ships can catch on to obvious hints." Momo laughed. "I can't believe that this night keeps getting better and better!" Mina giggled. I shrugged and decided to go back to watching my Green Day video.

A few minutes passed and as I continued my very interesting video, I was abruptly interrupted by someone crashing into me. My headphones were knocked out of my ears as I felt the weight of a person on top of me. I looked up and saw Ochako on top of me. We both locked eyes and turned incredibly red. She quickly jumped up and profusely apologized. I shot up and quickly made my way to my room, nervous after the encounter. Today had been eventful, so I decided to just sleep on it.

I woke up the next day and made my way into the common room, where Kirishima and Bakugo were once again raging at Smash Bros. as Kaminari watched on. I saw Uraraka being interrogated by all of the girls in 1-A while blushing and repeatedly waving her hands in front of her face and shaking her head 'no'. I sighed and sat on the couch and started watching more Youtube videos. "DAMN IT!" Bakugo screamed, launching yet another poor innocent Wavebird across the room. "Bakubro you gotta chill or I'm not gonna keep smashing with ya!" Kirishima laughed at the innuendo nature of his comment. "HEY! I'M NOT GAY REDHEAD! LET'S FIGHT AGAIN!" Bakugo threatened. "You wanna lose like yesterday?" Kirishima gave a shit-eating grin as he revealed that he had finally beaten Bakugo in a fight.

Boy, was UA a fun place to be.
