I woke up to the sound of girls giggling and clicks. "Good morning sleepyheads!" Mina squealed. My jaw dropped instantaneously. "W-what are you doing!" I shouted and jumped up, covering Uraraka with the blanket. The second I sat up I was yanked back down with a force that would make All Might blush. I looked around and accepted my fate. Why? Why does everyone have to notice when someone goes missing!? Why did they have to KNOW she was in my room? Why... Why did they know she was in my room..? That's beside the point, I guess. I was blushing feverishly.

"Get out! It's not what you think!" I pleaded. "Oh no, I don't think we will." Ashido winked at us. The commotion finally woke up Ochako, who jumped out of my bed and quickly stood up. "Someone enjoyed naptime!" Hagakure squealed. "No! No, you've got it all wrong! Deku and I would never do something like sleep in the same bed, what do you think I like him or something?" As soon as the words left her mouth my heart shattered. The look in her eyes also turned to one of what looked like regret. Maybe she was upset she couldn't lead me on anymore. I looked down and walked out without saying a word, brushing past everyone. "Where are you going?" Todoroki asked me as I walked past the couch. "We were supposed to hang out today, you seem down. Would you like to do that now?" He proposed. "I need to cancel. I don't feel like it." I murmured, fighting off tears. "Midoriya, what's wrong?" Todoroki pleaded with me. "It's nothing, really." I insisted. "Midoriya, plea-" "Didn't I say it's none of your business?" I shouted at him. Shoto stopped and took a step back. I started crying and ran off.

-Ochako POV-

I stood in silence as Deku brushed past everyone and took off running, with his signature green energy crackling off of his body as he left. "Deku!" I called out to deaf ears. "I should probably just, uhhh, delete this..." Mina quietly stated deleting her footage. Everyone slowly made their way away and I was left alone in Deku's room. I couldn't believe I'd said that, why would I say that!? I knew I liked Deku! I would never want to hurt him like that, and I didn't expect what I said to do so either! I sobbed and grabbed one of his jackets, throwing it on so I could get his scent. Deku always made me feel comfortable, at home. I needed to feel that right now even though I'd betrayed my best friend by lying.

I ran outside to hunt for Deku, determined to find him and tell him the truth, to apologize. I ran past a shocked Todoroki and made my way to the streets. "Deku!" I repeatedly screamed, to no avail. He wasn't coming, and I couldn't lure him to me to talk. I continually walked around the city, it now being dark. I was scared and cold, luckily Deku's jacket kept me warm. It looked like the top half of All Might's Silver Age costume.

"So, you like heroes little girl?" A voice snarled. I was snatched into an alleyway. "None of them are gonna find you where you're going, cutie." Another one added. I cried and tried to scream as my mouth was covered. I sobbed and sobbed as I was drug further into the alleyway and later put into a car. I woke up to the door opening and being dragged out by my arm. "Boss'll love her, she's a pretty one."  One of the men cooed at me.

"He won't like anything." A familiar voice called out. It was Deku's. He'd followed the vehicle here! How has he even found me? He was nowhere to be seen when I was looking for him! He began to fight with the grunts. Two had weak quirks, and one had no quirk at all, so he made quick work of them. "Are you okay?" He emotionlessly asked me. It was surreal. I didn't feel like his friend, I just felt like a victim. "Well, you best get home." He turned and walked away. "Deku, wait!" I called out to him. "I'm sorry for what I said, please just listen to me!" He paused for a moment. "I'm sure you are sorry." He frowned and jumped off, crackling again with his green energy. I'd lost my chance to love the one person I did love.

I'd lost my best friend.
