Chapter 3 - In Order to Stand

It was late in the evening, Kazuki was looking at the ticket, deciding to dial the number, he texted whoever it was, awaiting a response.

"Hello? Imai-san?" - Kazuki

"Heya~! How'd you know it was me?" - Lisa

"Also, I thought I told you to call me!" - Lisa

"There's no way I'm calling you when I'm not even familiar with you. Also I asked Ako if she knew the number." - Kazuki

I'll come back to her later, I want food.

Going downstairs, I grabbed a banana from the kitchen counter, before making my way back upstairs, where looked at my phone and notice there was a list of messages.

"So, regarding our live, can you make it?" - Lisa

"Just tell me if you can make it, we can get you a special backstage pass~☆!" - Lisa

"Hey, if ever, are you gonna be free after? We can go out to eat, with the rest of Roselia of course!" - Lisa

I simply chuckled at this, well, she is still young after all.

"Hey, sorry for the late reply, I can make it to your live, regarding the backstage pass, if it's no trouble, I'll be glad to pay for it. Regarding your last question, since it's a Sunday after, I should be free." - Kazuki

There we go. She seems excited though, wonder why...I can never understand girls.

"Don't worry about it, think of it as a thank you for treating us to that amazing restaurant! See you then!" - Lisa

After that, it only felt right to reply.

"Sure. I'm going to bed now, night, Imai-san." - Kazuki

"Don't be so formal, you can call us by our first names!" - Lisa

"Then...good night, Lisa-san." - Kazuki

After that last message, I place my phone on its charging rack and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After doing so, I simply sit on the bed and look at my hands.

Man, I'm really all beat up. Well, at least I have a really good impression on Ako's friends. Now...I wonder how Afterglow is doing...

The next day, I was up preparing Tomoe and Ako's lunches, they better not forget it this time.

"Morning!"

Tomoe exclaimed.

"Oh, Tomoe. Good morning."

She seems to be in a good mood.

"So, you seem to be in a good mood. Something up?"

I asked.

"Yeah! Afterglow has a show today, we're performing with a bunch of our friends!"

She exclaimed.

"Really now? Well, I should make some extra food for you then, no doubt you're gonna be hungry after your show."

She's really busy, I'm actually pretty happy that she gets to perform with a band.

I'm a little jealous...

"Ka-nii, if you want, why not drop by? You're always busy with class and stuff, but if ever you're free, you should really come to see one of our shows!"

Tomoe replied.

"Hm...I'll think about it first."

I playfully replied, turning away to hide my face. Okay, so truth be told...I'm really jealous...to be part of a band, to have people you can put your hopes on, to have people who you can share your dreams with...I'm really jealous...
