Chapter 6

NEW ORLEANS,THEATHER,1775 OCTOBER.

Ruby sat in the plush chair of seat 37 row b
Listening to the lady on stage singing opera,warm hands holding hers cought her attention and she glanced up to the man beside her with a warm smile.

Later on the brown haired lady and a much taller man with well kept blonde hair stood waiting for their carriage,the woman wore a beautiful baby pink gown it reached all the way and over her golden coloured silk shoes,the gown was layered with white lace on the neckline,the end of its sleeves that were elbow length,the slight overgrown on the sides of the dress and the very bottom of it.

Two beautiful horses came around the corner with the coachman sitting in the front  of pretty carriage.

The blonde man helped ruby up and got in after her someone closing the door behind him,they glanced at each other and smiled as the carriage started to move towards their home the moonlight trickling in through the small window on the woman's side it's bright shine bouncing off of her necklace.

Ruby would never forget that night even in the coming centuries she will live in, the man will always hold a special place in her heart even if he was gone forever.

Ruby's eyes burned with unshed tears as she watched her reflection in the mirror her seemingly delicate hand that unbeknown to strangers did monstrous things holding a locket necklace with a picture inside that nobody but ruby was allowed to see.

The woman was so far into her thoughts that she didn't hear someone knocking and coming in her room,Esme having noticed ruby's fingers clutching the necklace while tears pooled in her eyes looked at her in sadness and slight pity.

"They'll be here soon dear"Esme mumbled knowing that the woman would hear even if it was said in the quietest tone of voices.

"Alright,thank you for letting me know"ruby smiled in thanks.

After Esme left the woman decided to get out of her pajamas,although she didn't sleep Ruby liked to keep to some human routines she did when she was still breathing.

The vampire decided on some black tights with pockets all over it and a long sleeved cropped hoodie sweater that showed off some cleavage.

Twenty minutes later Ruby watched jasper throw emmet and chuckled when the huge man said "again" like nothing happened,bella and Edward arrived moments later in emmets Jeep Edward muttering about the bracelet Bella had on.

Everyone glanced over when they heard growling and feet padding across the earths floor the wolves lining up the alpha being in the front.

"They don't trust us enough to be in their human form"Edward stated after reading their mind.

"They came that's what matters,will you translate"carlisle questioned.

Ruby felt eyes burning through her Head but didn't give the satisfaction of looking over "the mutts gonna make my head explode if he keeps looking at me"she looked towards Edward with a small smirk the bronze haired boy stared back with a small grin.

"Welcome,jasper has experience with newborns,he'll teach us how to deafest them"

After a few seconds of silence Edward voiced the wolves question"they wanna know how newborns differ from us"

"They're a great deal stronger than us,because their own human blood lingers In their tissues...our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life"Carlisle explained
