Rory paced back and forth after receiving that message from Victoria. She was sure that it was all just a joke and that Victoria didn't mean her words. There was no way in hell that Victoria meant anything she said when it came down to them and relationships.
She was sure that Victoria was just trying to lore her back into her trap and manipulate her into being her sex buddy again. And Rory would have called that overthinking, but it wasn't like it didn't happen before. This wasn't the first time that Rory told her she was ready for a relationship.
And just like last time, Victoria texted. Unlike last time, Rory wasn't going to be an idiot. And even if she did 'fall back into Victoria's trap', she would be in more control now. Rory would make sure that they didn't have sex until Victoria really started to show the signs that she wants to be with Rory.
And that did seem like a bit much, waiting for sex when she was a high schooler, and she should have been out there having fun, but her days of fun was over. It gets boring after a while having to flirt with a new person every week, and it's even worst sleeping around with people that could get you STD's.
Her thoughts were put to an end when she heard the sound of the doorbell ringing. She hadn't even realized how long she had been in thought and if it wasn't for the multiple sounds of the bell ringing, she would have still been lost in thought.
She quickly ran downstairs to answer the door to see it was just Jess. Not only that but, She rolled her eyes before leaving the door open, ready for her to walk in.
"You didn't answer my calls. I was trying to tell you that the girls agreed to coming over. We're like on a double date now." Jess said, smiling.
Rory nodded before running her fingers through her hair. She then walked into her kitchen and she sat at the table, trying to wrap her head around the whole thing with Victoria.
Jess didn't even care to acknowledge what Rory was doing because she was busy helping herself to the kitchen. She had been hungry and deciding not to eat lunch that day was the dumbest idea that she could think of.
"So, what should I say to her? I don't want to ruin her relationship with her boyfriend but then again I don't want them to be together. I'm in a bad position here." Jess said,
"Yeah, I wouldn't recommend standing. On the bed or on a desk is the best. You could do missionar-" Rory started,
"Not that position, Rory. I just don't know what to do when it comes to Angelina. She's different from other girls and she acts completely different. Usually I could talk my way into being with her, and it would be easy to make her leave her boyfriend, but that's not what I want. I don't want to be her rebound, you know? Like I actually want to love her and be with her for whatever forever is." Jess said,
Rory nodded as she looked up at her best friend who seemed to be lost in thoughts staring into the thin air with nothing but a smile on her face.
And no matter how pathetic it did sound, Rory wanted exactly what Jess was saying. She wanted that, no matter if it was with Victoria or not. She just wanted to feel loved.
"I don't know, she just has some type of spell over me. She makes me say cheesy and corny things." Jess said,
"And how many interactions have you had with her?" Rory asked,
"3." Jess said, proudly.
"And how many of those times did she actually acknowledge you and talk to you?" Rory asked,
"Once. But-"
"Just shut the fuck up." Rory said,
Jess scoffed as she took out the leftovers from last night. She then took out a plate as she made her some.
