Engagement Day

Aditya carried Zoya to the mansion.

" Bhai i am sorry. This girl is a sleepyhead. Give her to me." Rishi sighed

Rishi took Zoya into his arms. Zoya opened her eyes as she felt someone taking her away from Aditya's chest as she felt comfortable in Aditya'd embrace.

" umm i" Zoya mumbled

"Sleep Zoya it's me." Rishi assured her and Zoya again closed her eyes nuzzuling into his neck.

"i am leaving everyone." Rishi left with Zoya.

"They are looking so cute." Mira said

"You are right Mira. They are made for each other. Nazar na lage kisi ki ."

Naina and Mira went to do their remaining work leaving Aditya and his thoughts alone.

"Mom is correct. They are made for eachother. They looked cute. Zoya was looking so comfortable with Rishi. But is it more comfortable than my embrace? Zoya looked disturbed when Rishi took her away from me. She was so comfortable in my arms."

Aditya thought himself

"This is wrong Adi. It's hella wrong." Aditya shook his head and went to his room.

Next days were normal. Aditya used to leave early before Zoya came to give flowers to Dadi and returned late . Just to ignore Zoya he gave Rishi a week off. He was beyond happiness. Finally he got time to spend with his girlfriend.

But someone was getting frustrated day by day .

Aditya tried so hard not to think about Zoya not to think about Zoya and Rishi's relationship. But he couldn't help. He was actually feeling disgusted with himself that he is thinking about his brother's soon to be wife. But Zoya' face , hair, smile, her plumpy lips, her hazal eyes. Everything was messing with his thoughts. He had not seen her from that day. Today is Parth and Divya's engagement. Though he doesn't want to admit but deep inside he is excited to meet Zoya. Specially after spending time with her that day, he found that there was something in that girl. May be that's why his family got too much attached with her. He himself too feel that she is the one who can tie them up with the single thread.

Engagement night

Rishi went to pick Zoya fron her house

Everyone got ready for the party.

Aditya wore the suit Zoya chose for him that day. Aditya was finding excuses to tell Zoya that why did he wear this particular suit .

ivya and Parth exchange their rings.
"Now the engagement is over. Let's have some fun then" Rishi said holding the glass of champagne

"Absolutely but there will be some twist. We will switch our partners." Divya said

"What do you mean Div ?" Parth said

"That means I will not dance with you." Divya said playfully

"Then with whom you will dance?" Parth mocked

" Umm with Rishi " Divya dragged Rishi

"If you are dancing with Rishi then i will dance with umm Any yes Anu come " Parth called Ananya

Soon everyone chose their partners. Except Zoya and Aditya.

"Are Zoya , Adi you two haven't chosen your partner yet" Divya asked

They shook their head.

" Then dance with each other. " Neha suggested

" No Di it's okay" Aditya said

"It's okay Aditya" Zoya smiled

Aditya nodded

"Shall we ?"

" Hm "

Aditya held Zoya's hand and went to the dance floor.

His one hand is on her waist and one is holding hers. They moved their body with the flow of music.

"I didn't know you could dance" Zoya asked

" why "

"No i mean you always behave like a typical businessman who only knows how to do business " Aditya chuckled.

" that's true though but i am lucky to have my siblings who taught me almost everything."

"Like "

"umm like I used to do all the house work when Rishi was born. Mom was busy with Rishi so me and Di used to help her.when Di, Anu used to go to the dance class i always followed them and in that way i learnt how to dance.Then i used to shop with my sisters." Aditya said

"that's why you have a great fashion sense for girls'. I am impressed  Mr. Malhotra. You are what the girls want in their husband or boyfriend."

"Care to elaborate"

"umm you are handsome, rich, caring, soft, passionate, loving etc etc. You are like the dream husband for the girls." Zoya said

" What about you ?"

"Me"

"Yes. What do you want in your future husband?" Aditya asked

" i believe love can change a person. So for me these criteria don't matter. Cause no one is perfect so i am happy with what i have got " Zoya smiled

" Rishi is truly lucky to have you Zoya."

" Indeed he is " Zoya laughed. Aditya also smiled. He feels at ease talking with Zoya. She is like medicine to him. Who can cure anything and everything by her smile and care. He just loves her company. He wants her to stay with him all the time. And he knows which is not possible.

Soon the music stopped and Rishi came between them.

"Bhai now gives my partner back. " Rishi said playfully

" She was always yours Rishi. I can't Never have her." Rishi and Zoya both frowned as they didn't get Adi's words

Aditya soon composed himself and left Zoya's hands.

"I mean she is your of course." By saying this he left from there.

At night

"I can understand your situation Adi but we are helpless. Mr. Agarwal will be leaving after 10 days. He can't delay his treatment anymore Adi." Adhiraj said

" But Dad i came here only for the engagement. The works are pending there dad" Aditiya said

" Adi please. Without you i will not marry." Parth whinned

" Parth don't behave like a child. You have to marry Divya. Try to understand her situation Parth."

"then why are you not understanding our situation. Without you we are nothing Adi please." Parth cut him off

"Yes Bhai please stay. It's only 10 days . Please please please." Rishi and Parth started nagging

"You guys are ridiculous."

"Adi you can do business later . Here your family needs you. I always told you to prefer your family before anything. " Naina said

Aditya sighed.

" You can never understand me " Aditya mumbled

"Did you say anything?" Adhiraj asked

"Nothing Dad i will stay"

"Yeahhhhhh"

Rishi and Parth started jumping like teenagers .

"Hello you young men don't forget that we have less time. We have to organise everything within 10 days." Deepak said slapping Parth's arm

"Don't worry chachu as long as bhai is here everything will be perfect. Right Bhai?" Aditya nodded
