A/n: Just so you know, I'll be using my OC (Original Character) in this oneshot.

-------------------

It was Saturday night, 27th July. 10:00 p.m.

Nature had already set up a romantic setting in the atmosphere. The soft clattering sound of the pouring rain in the dark, and the sweet warm feeling of the crackling fireplace inside. The fire blazed and the flames danced on the burning logs, gleaming golden orange colour on the bark.

The rain was continuously pouring for hours now, but it seemed comforting enough, to drench the severe heatwave during the month of June.

The soft pattering murmur of the raindrops could've soothed anyone's soul. The smell of the soil when the water-drops hit the ground felt somehow refreshing.

Daphne was comfortably sitting on the arm-chair, beside the window sill, in her oversized shirt and hair plaited up messily. Her hands held on to a book, that she seemed to be reading. Sometimes, the wind blew with gentle pace, sprinkling few of the raindrops on her face.

Her boyfriend, Harry, glanced at her from the kitchen counter, who was preparing a good cup of warm coffee for both of them. He was wearing his casual grey sweatshirt, the sleeves of which were rolled up to his elbows.

Daphne was doing something behind her book, but Harry couldn't make it out, what exactly, since she was sitting right across him and the book cover did a great job hiding what she was doing, if she really was doing something else.

The most intriguing part was that sometimes, it seemed she was stuck on the same page for hours, while sometimes it seemed she was reading very quick, flipping over 3 pages at once. Harry sensed something seemed very off about it, but he didn't know what and why.

He snapped out of his thoughts, as the coffee that he was preparing, was ready to be enjoyed. He poured it in two cups and walked over to the coffee table, for Daphne to receive it. But to his surprise, she was way too busy in reading to receive her cup of coffee. The smile on Harry's lips turned into a firm line, and he put her cup on the table, with a slight hint of annoyance.

Daphne Mayberry, and Harry Potter, had been dating each other for 6 years now, since they were in their 6th year at Hogwarts.

To Harry, Daphne had never acted so weirdly. So weirdly that urged Harry's brain to think in the impossible direction. He sat down on the opposite couch.

"Love?" Harry spoke in a low voice.

"Hmm...?" She hummed as a response.

"What are you doing?"

"Reading," she replied to his question, but her hand constantly moved and she seemed way too focused on something, and Harry could make it out that it was anything but reading.

Harry thought for a moment and then spoke up again, "I made some coffee for you."

"Okay," was her response.

Harry felt disappointed and there was again a slight hint of annoyance and irritation in the expressions across his face.

They were in their 20s, and they both worked at the Ministry, in the Auror Department, to be specific. But Harry had never seen Daphne being so confidential.

What is the matter exactly?

Harry cleared his throat but there was again no response from his girlfriend.

"Umm, I have to tell you something," Harry spoke up breaking the silence. There was a slight movement of nodding in her head, compelling Harry to speak forward.
