The Figure At The Docks

I woke up to a bump and looked out the window. Austin was knocked and I laughed silently before getting out of bed. I know what your thinking. All the dumb bitches who follow the noises get killed. But this time I was interested, I slowly opened the door and looked out. The fog covered the earth like a thick blanket.
I slowly closed the door and tiptoed out and into the thick fog. I was cold and certain it was almost five in the morning judging by the coldness. I shivered only wearing Austin's big shirt that hung over my knees. I reached the lake and looked around not seeing anyone. I went onto the dock and looked around hearing twigs snap behind me I whipped ny head around and looked behind me. "Austin?? Is that you??" I called out and knew it wasn't when I didn't get a reply. "This is the final nail in my coffin..." I muttered and turned back around freezing in my tracks.. someone or something was standing at least five yards away from me. He was tall and we'll built. He wielded a machete in his left hand and I knew his mask. He was the same masked man I saw behind Austin yesterday prior to me Drowning. "Who the Fuck are you?!" I looked at im and he began walking towards me.
I bolt of fear ran through me as I backed away and he moved quick for a guy of his stature. I turned around a ran hoping he couldn't see me through the fog. I reached my cabin and I waisted no time to shut the door. Austin woke up and looked at me. "What is your deal?" I panted and locked the door and closed the curtains. "There is a guy who tried to murder me!" I shrieked as he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck. "Calm down." He whispered. "Everything will be alright. Just come back to bed with me." I nodded and got back into bed and held him close. "Shush." He held me in his strong grip and I soon fell back asleep.
The next time I woke up it was broad daylight and the fog had cleared up, the sun was shining and the kids were laughing. I saw Austin left a note that read:

Went to swim in the lake, when you wake up come join me beautiful. Xoxoxo

I laughed and then jumped up getting my bathing suit on. I ran down to the dock ans saw Austin swimming with some little kids. I smiled and jumped in next to him and he pulled me in for a kiss, our lips moving in synch the little kids all groaned and I laughed. I swam around for a long while then I got out and went back to the cabin. I didn't feel so hot.. I felt like I had to puke so I ran to the bathroom and let it all go in the toilet.
