i always feel like i'm a mess
i'm scared to close the door
'cuz when i do, i'm left with less
feels like that rhythm in my chest
and there's no other way to dance

but i'm so tired of that
'cuz that's just the way it is
and nobody's trying something else
so i'm gonna try to deal with it
