Garroth rang the bell, soon hearing faint shuffling from behind as it swung open--revealing a woman. He gave a small smile and wave as she was shocked. "Hey, Kimmy." "Garroth?! Why are you out so late?!" She ushered him in as he saw her small yet homey place.

The blond sat down as he looked at his feet, recalling the moment he'd decided to visit her place instead of Laurance's place.

He felt his eyes water when recalling the argument, soon surprised when hands were cupping his face--staring at the glass wearing girl. "You were spacing out." She looked concerned as he gently shook her hand off, feeling vulnerable. "Sorry... just, family stuff." He smiled as he massaged his head. Kim stared at him, noticing the weariness he displayed--now concerning her when she saw his tears falling. "Gar--kyah!" Before she could ask why he'd visit so late, he slowly fell into her embrace.

She was flustered, peeking towards his face as she realized he'd passed out cold. "Garroth...?" She sighed as she moved his body to the couch, laying him down on her lap--seeing that he's managed to hold onto the hem of her shirt. "I really do owe an explanation... you better tell me tomorrow." Poking his cheek as he grumbled, burying his head into her stomach.

The following morning, Dante was writing down his essay--no thanks to Travis telling him off, making him do all the homework he missed. "Oh, yeah, I'm going out to get food. Do you want anything?" The silverette stood, moving to the door when the latter thought carefully.

"Hm... can I get some sweets or somethin'? The doctors said it was fine when I asked this morning." Dante tilted his head as Travis nodded as he was about to twist the knob, but it swung open to reveal a familiar scarlet haired girl.

Like a diva-prince, Travis gave a 'goodluck' look to his best friend before rushing out--not bothering to see Dante's glare as Nicole remained inside. Today, Maria and Gene were all out as the older brother attended school while Maria went to work for the time being. Dante furrowed his brow. "Isn't it early for you to come visit?" "Katelyn and I finished our work early. Ms. Amelia let us off." Nicole stated as her gaze fell on his body--still bandaged.

"Then... why'd you visit?" He stared at her with confusion, the tensions in the room growing, Nicole frowned, lips quivering as she held the hem of her skirt. "J-just to talk." She looked towards him, seeing his serious gaze--replacing the gaze everyone knew to be Dante. He sighed before placing his papers down the table beside him. "I thought everything was sorted when you and I parted ways."

Nicole but her lip. "I dated other people... you went on with your life and dated others too--nothing left to talk about--" "--I'm talking about us here." She snapped, a hardened gaze on her gray eyes.

Nicole's eyes watered. "I just... felt that we broke up too suddenly... I wanted to know why we did? Why did you... break up with me?" Dante's gaze turned empty, looking to the window, making Nicole mad. "Why can't you talk about this straight with me?!--" "--the night before we broke up... do you remember it?" His firm tone made her silent, feeling confused for a turn.

As if a slight deja vu, Nicole was recalling the moments through the nights--as she argued with him. As she snapped back to the present, she shivered at the icy gaze given by the warmest eyes she'd once known. "You... broke up with me... after you'd said I was pulling you down. I was the only thing pushing you away from what you wanted to be..." his words struck her deep. "It made me think back on so many of the things we shared."

Dante's smile was solemn and closer to pity than sincerity. "Was I so... so useless in your life? Were those confessions and words of love--were they lies, maybe I was just the one imagining it and forcing them on you..."

Nicole teared up as she realized the mistakes she'd made. "Dante... Dante, I'm so sorry..." he lightly scoffed. "But you weren't that time you'd open your mind...." his tears fell, the scarlet haired wanted to go closer but the bluette held his hand up, telling her to stop. "I... just can't face you right now... if we talk right now--you and I... may not be able to even return... to being some classmates... let alone talk."

As Travis felt nervous about how the ex-lovers were talking, he'd simply gone back to the hospital with some groceries from the convenience store nearby. He was walking in a hall when people rushed past him, aiding an emergency patient. The boy should've avoided his curiosity, turning to watch the patient roll in.

He saw the green dust emitting from the body as the nurses and doctors wore masks--trying to conduct CPR on the unconscious body.

Like an epiphany, his eyes were somehow drawn to the slowly retreating figure--his green eyes flickering from red to their normal green. A sharp sting near his chest made his grunt, holding onto the wall as the grocery he held dropped to the floor--tightly grasping onto his shirt, the stinging sensation worsening, shutting his eyes.

'Travis. Look at me! You cannot turn here! Your father will grow worried! Kid!' Travis opened his eyes to see a hooded black figure, a familiar man who kept tabs on him. 'Michael... wha-whats ha-happening...' 'Emerald Drugs are too potent on you! Your powers are triggered from it more easily since we share a cell! Snap out of it!' Michael yelled as the black area that is Travis' mind was switching to a cracked state. As his physical body fell to his knees, he panted trying to get a grip when a figure came close-his blurry figure soon making out who it was.

"Travis! Are you okay?! Are you sic--s-someone! Help, my friend is losing consciousness!" She yelled as she held his shoulder, nurses near the reception came close, moving him to sit in one of the emergency beds.

Travis held her shoulder, making her stay by his side. "K-Katelyn..." "Yeah, I'm here! Don't worry, these guys can help." She held his hand, placed on her shoulder--comforting him as he felt his body go numb, Michael telling him he's mending the pain.
