Slayer Hero: Tanjiro

Inosukes

Zenitsu stood still and tried to process his presumption. If this Inosuke wasn't the Inosuke that he sent through his portal, then the other Inosuke might be in danger somehow, not knowing how to get back.

"Zenitsu..? You ok?" Izuku walked up to him, looking concerned.

"Uh.." Zenitsu hesitated, then turned to look at Inosuke again. He had to clarify to make 100% sure that this wasn't the Inosuke from his world, "So, are you saying that you don't remember Rengoku's death... at all?"

"Duh, obviously. Cuz it never happened!" Inosuke huffed while dramatically putting his hands on his hips and closing his eyes.

Izuku noticed the uneasiness in Zenitsu's eyes, "What's wrong?"

"I-if... this Inosuke believes that Mr. Rengoku is still alive, then this isn't the Inosuke that ran through my portal..." Zenitsu looked down at the floor with a bit of panic in his eyes.

"What's that supposed to mean??" Inosuke blurted.

Zenitsu looked up at him. A small bead of sweat trickled down the side of his face.

"You aren't from the same world as me..."

There was silence for a moment. Then Izuku took a step back, "W-wait, if he's not the Inosuke you know, then where is-..."

"I don't know," Zenistu looked back at Izuku, "the other Inosuke could probably be anywhere in the universe. And knowing him, he's probably too stupid to figure out how to get himself back."

"Hey!! Don't talk crap about other me!!" Inosuke pointed at Zenitsu angrily.

"But wait..! Didn't you say that it was possible to travel to a different world if you know someone there?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah.. but now that we know there's alternate worlds of ours. It'd probably be impossible to know which Inosuke is the right one." Zenitsu looked at the ground again.

"Tch, that shouldn't stop us!" Inosuke put his hands on his hips, "We should bring every me here, and create the ultimate Lord Inosuke army!!"

"Uh... that's a horrible idea." Zenitsu frowned with an annoyed look.

"Um, think about it like this Inosuke," Izuku said, "If we take you away from all the worlds, then none of them will get to have their... uh... lord....?"

"Obviously we'd bring 'em back, Zikuru!" Inosuke crossed his arms.

Izuku thought about it for a moment, then said, "Um.. I guess it wouldn't hurt then.. right Zenitsu?"

"Wouldn't hurt?? Seriously?! We wouldn't be able to tell them apart! And how would we get the correct Inosuke back to the correct world??" Zenitsu raised his voice.

"Hah! All the other me think like me! Because we are me!" Inosuke said proudly, "We could tell, for sure!"

"I highly doubt that-" Zenitsu sighed.

"I'm sure it'd be okay." Izuku smiled.

There was a long pause, then Zenitsu looked at Inosuke who was standing proudly with his decision. Then he sighed again, "I guess it wouldn't make too much of a difference, since you're an idiot anyway."

"HAHA YEAH! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!!" Inosuke threw his fists in the air to celebrate. He was excited to meet the other Inosukes.

Zenitsu looked forward with a blank expression, "What the hell did I just agree to-"

Tanjiro was walking through the butterfly mansion hand-in-hand with Nezuko. He was thinking to himself about how he left Zenitsu and Izuku by themselves.

Nezuko noticed this, so she looked up at him and made muffled noises attempting to ask what the matter was, "Mmmh?"

Tanjiro looked down at Nezuko to see the concern and curiosity in her eyes.

"No need to worry, Nezuko." Tanjiro smiled warmly and patted the top of her head.

He knew he couldn't stay in his world forever, he had to go back for Zenitsu and Inosuke. And now that Shuichi was after Izuku too, he had to go back to help him fight. There was no way to tell when Shuichi would appear again, so he had to go back there as soon as possible.

As Tanjiro and Nezuko continued to roam through the halls together, they saw three young girls walk out of a room. It was Naho, Kiyo, and Sumi.

When they saw Tanjiro, their faces lit up with joy. Then, they spoke in unison, "Tanjiro! You're back!"

Tanjiro remembered Aoi telling him that if he were to leave again, he should tell someone. Though, he did feel slightly bad about having to leave right when Naho, Kiyo, and Sumi found out he was back.

"Hello! It's so good to see you again!" Tanjiro smiled brightly, "But.. there is something that I need to tell you."

"Oh yeah? What is it?" Kiyo asked.

The three of them had gleaming smiles on their faces. Tanjiro felt ashamed to tell them he was leaving again, but it had to be done.

"I.. need to leave again. I'm sorry!" Tanjiro sqeezed his eyes shut and bowed in apology.

"Oh.. ok." The three of them slightly frowned, "we understand."

"Thank you," Tanjiro opened his eyes and stood upright, "Please let Miss Aoi and Lady Kocho know as well."

"We will!" The three of them waved Tanjiro goodbye as he and Nezuko walked into an open room.

Once they were inside the room, Tanjiro let go of Nezuko's hand so he could attempt make the portal again. It took a few tries, but eventually, he was able to open the portal, revealing the UA training facility that Tanjiro was practicing at earlier. Now, it was night there, so it was safe for Nezuko to pass through as well.

As Tanjiro continued to focus, he said to Nezuko, "Alright... Nezuko, you can walk through now."

"Mmhhmm!" Nezuko hopped through the glowing blue portal and turned around to wait for Tanjiro.

Then, once Tanjiro walked through, the portal closed behind him.

Zenitsu and Izuku weren't anywhere in sight, which meant they had probably already went back to the dorms. Tanjiro smiled and held onto Nezuko's hand, then the two of them walked towards the UA dorm building.

As they got closer, they could hear lots of commotion.

"I wonder what that's all about." Tanjiro said.

They picked up their pace a bit and the noises became louder. Then, Tanjiro picked up a very prominent scent. It smelled like... Inosuke? Yet, it was much stronger than usual.

Once the UA building came into view, the eyes of both Nezuko and Tanjiro widened as they saw what was happening.

There they saw Zenitsu creating many portals, one after the other. Each time, letting out.... an Inosuke.

From what the eye could see, there were already hundreds of them. They were all gathered outside the front of the building. Izuku and some of the other students were standing in the doorway watching the chaos unfold.

Inosukes were everywhere, running around, and greeting eachother. Then one spotted Tanjiro and Nezuko. "HEY GUYS LOOK!!! GONPACHIRO'S BACK!!"
