I'm sorry for how crappy and short this chapter is. I wrote it at 2 am, half sleep cause I just wanted to get it over with. It's not really necessary. It's just Maira getting her name and introducing Jack. Aren't they the cutest things you've ever seen? :D

Prologue (part 2)

Ivy blinked, not being able to process this fast enough. A baby. Her new flower opened up and inside it was a baby. She rubbed her eyes. Nope still there. Pinched herself. Hurt so she's not dreaming. And she isn't exactly able to get high so easily. So there's only one explanation; the really is a baby staring right back at her.

The child had mocha skin with small leaves sprouting from her hands and feet and curly brown hair. She had big pouty lips and bioluminescent Aqua blue eyes accompanied with a small button nose and pointed elfin ears. Ivy could sense her just like one of her plants, almost as if she were a plant herself.

When the child laid eyes upon Ivy she instantly reached for her and giggled. The action was not expected and Ivy took a step back. She instantly regretted it however when the baby girls eyes began to tear up, making Ivy come forward once again. The Middlemist Red beneath the child lifted up, almost as if presenting the baby to her. Tentatively, Ivy accepted the gift and took the baby into her arms, instantly falling in love. This was what she always wanted, a child of her own, one who could understand and feel the nature the same way she could.

She finally got her wish.

"So tell me again how you got a baby, Pammy" Harley asked through her heavy Brooklyn accent. Ivy sighed and continued to feed her child beet juice.

"I told you Harls. The Middlemist Red flower opened up and there she was. I'm pretty sure she's a nymph." Once her daughter was full, she placed her back inside the flower she emerged from, her temporary crib. "I mean it's not as crazy as some of the other villains back stories." Harley shrugged, not being able to disagree, before setting down her own child, who ran over the the baby.

"What's a nymph?"

"A Nymph is pretty much a woman or in this case child, who is the very essence of nature personified. That's the best way I can describe it. They control nature, make the plants grow, the weather change, and make the rivers flow." Harley nodded, only slightly understanding what the other said, but decided on changing the subject.

"So whatcha gonna name the cutie?" She asked as she too cooed at the baby with her son. Ivy had thought all night on this, a name for her daughter and decided giving her a nymph name would be best. But she didn't want her child to stand out too much so she did some research.

"Well I was looking up different nymphs last night and I decided on the name Maira." At the sound of her name, the baby laughed and reached for her mother who picked her up without hesitation. The baby smiled once more as she was nestled in her mommy's arms. At this, Jack too lifted his arms to his mother who picked him up as well and settled him on her hip. Harley smiled.

"That's your new friend Jacky. Her names Maira." The boy looked to his mother before looking back to the baby who stared at him with big blue eyes. He smiled too.

"Can she be my sister momma?" Both villainesses smiled.

"How about your friend instead hm?" Jack pursed his lips but nodded. Looking back to his new friend, he broke out into a wide smile reminiscent of his fathers. Wether his mom said she could only be his friend, Jack could always pretend the new baby was his little sister.
