"Mama! Look what Checo got me for my birthday!"

Devon Persaud shouted at the top of his lungs as he ran around the entire lower floor of their family home, with the hyperactive child clutching a remote control formula one car.

As his mother came in to his view, the young boy began to bounce up and down on the tips of his toes in excitement as he got to show off his new favorite toy, which he knew that would forever be his favorite and that nothing would be able to top it.

"You can call him later and thank him then, can't you?"

Keisha Persaud spoke as she walked up to her young son, seeing the six year old jumping up and down whilst holding the remote control car, whilst also making car engine noises with his mouth.

"I get to speak to Checo?" Devon gasped, happy that he would be able to speak to his hero, his favorite formula one driver that was Sergio Perez.

"Of course you do, and you can wish him good luck for his race tomorrow, I'm sure that he will love to have his good luck charm speak to him." Keisha ruffled her sons hair with her hand as she walked past him, subtly grabbing her sons things so that she could try and pack them without him noticing.

She had given him the gift from Checo, since she knew that he would become distracted by it which meant that she could pack some of his things without him noticing and ruin his surprise.

Checo had gotten Devon an expensive remote control car of his Red Bull car, with his driver number and signature on the side of it, whereas she was planning on taking him to an actual formula one race because she had bought tickets for them to watch the race from Checo's garage.

It would be a surprise for both Devon and Sergio.

"I'm his good luck charm! I'm a formula one drivers good luck charm!!" Devon bounced around on the hard wood floor as he laughed and screamed, barely noticing his mother sneaking her way out of the room with her hands full.

She could hear her sons screams and cheers throughout the whole house, even as she was in the process of pushing some of his toys in to a small suitcase so that he had some things to play with for the journey and for when they were resting after the race.

She packed some clothing for the both of them, making sure that they were cool enough since they knew that it was going to be incredibly warm with the weather.

She packed her toiletries and her hair products, including a silk bonnet that she had bought after watching a YouTube video and found out that it would help her hair, since she didn't really know too much about haircare.

She packed her sons favorite rubber duck, since he loved to play with a rubber duck whilst she was bathing him in the bath, where he would make duck noises and pretend to be a duck since he loved the sound that the ducks made.

She packed a feather boa that her son loved to play with, since the feel of the feathers on his skin made him happy and relaxed him, especially if he was bouncing off the walls.

It certainly wasn't easy having a son who had Autism, ADHD and Tourettes, but she loved him with her whole heart. Every time that he discovered something that he loved, Keisha was always there to make sure that he would be able to use that something. Whether it was a toy, or a piece of clothing or something completely random, all she wanted was the best for her son.

Sergio was great with her son too. He always took his time in greeting him, and always gifted him things that he knew that he would like. He knew that Devon liked toys that made sounds so it was always remote control cars or toy guns.
