9:Forever fall

Stars flood the sky over Beacon Academy as all the lights turned off symbolizing all the students who had turned in for the night,all but one.
This particular light came from the dorm room of team JNPR minus Jaune who was the only one not present at the moment,Pyrrha stared put the window with a sad expression as she sighed,Ren in his quiet space cleaned and polished his weapons for the day ahead of him tomorrow as Nora being Nora happily jumped on the bed

Nora:"how come Jaune gets home so late?"

Ren:"he's become scarce since he's become rather chummy with Cardin"

Nora continues to bounce as she asks

Nora:"dosen't he know we've got a field trip tomorrow?" (Drops herself onto the bed) "and we need our rest"

Pyrrha who went from sad to a bit annoyed simply folded her arms as she spoke up

Pyrrha:"I'm sure our leader know's exactly what he's doing"

She says looking away from the two as Nora cozied herself up and closed her eyes

Nora:(yawns)"maybe"

She says as she slowly starts to drift off,unbeknownst to the three their leader happend to be right outside the door listening in on them as he sighed only for a familiar voice to call out to him

Ruby:"hey Jaune"

He jumped and turned around to see Ruby in her pajamas along with her sleep mask over her head

Jaune:"oh,h-hey Ruby"

Ruby:"what's up,did you lock yourself put again?"

She asked tilting her head to the side a bit as the boy smiled and rubbed his neck

Jaune:"no,no I didnt" (picks up scroll) "got it right here"

He said trying his best to leave only to be stopped by her questioning hin further

Ruby:"so where've you been recently?"

She asked as he grew more nervous trying to find a proper excuse only to just fail as he sighed in frustration

Jaune:"I messed up,I didn something I shouldn't have and now Cardin's got me on a leash,Pyrrha wont even talk to me and..(sighs)..I'm starting to think coming to this school was a bad idea"

He admitted to the silver eyed girl as she stared back at hin and watched as he slid down to door

Jaune:"I'm a failure"

Ruby:"nope"

Jaune who was caught a bit offguard by this looked up at Ruby in confusion

Jaune:"nope?"

Ruby:"nope,you're a leader now Jaune you're not allowed to be a failure"

Jaune:"but,what if I am a failure at being a leader?"

Ruby gave it some thought before staring back at him with the same reply again

Ruby:"hmmm,nope"

This made the boy chuckle a bit as she joined him on the floor

Jaune:"you know you're not the easiest person to talk about this kind of stuff"

Ruby:"nope"

He rolled his eyes at the seemingly unchanging answer as she began explaining herself

Ruby:"Jaune,maybe you were a failure when you were a kid (he sighs) and maybe you were a failure the first day we met (he slides down further groaning) but you can't be one now...you know why?"
