~Tuesday, saw her down on the beach, I stood and watched awhile, then she looked and smiled at me~
Now the next day, Eric wakes up in his rather mundane, but stunning hotel room, with a view he swears puts the city landscape from his 36th floor office window to shame. After he ate breakfast from the room service, he proceeded to get ready for a morning walk, he wouldn't lie and say he does this everyday because he doesn't he usually just ignores his alarm and sleeps an hour more, but honestly he felt like he should take advantage of the weather and the scenery just for Pete's sake.
He decided to jog to the boardwalk of the nearby beach, just seven minutes of a walk from the hotel. However, just as he stood looking at the waves from his position he adverted his eyes and saw a beautiful, divine face and just as she moved, adjusting a camera in her hands, she turned in the direction of her shot; Eric. One eye was closed and the other on the eyepiece. Eric, flustered, quickly looked away, with a tinge of red in his porcelain complexion. Just as he looked back, the woman lowered her camera and he swore he saw a twinkle in her eyes as she looked and smiled at him. Everything felt like slow motion. What Eric didn't know was that she was equally taken aback from the ethereal beauty from the actually shy man from afar. In this moment of what one could only call stagnation, he could only smile back. Just as he was going to walk away, he hesitated on going ahead and grow a pair as he insulted himself and confront her and maybe get to know her, he looked back and she was gone. He thought about the rest of the day and night as he slept. Or what he thought was sleep.
