It was just an ordinary day in Teyvat. Mondstadt's wind lightly breezes into the air as hirlicurls lie down under the sun while some dance with Abyss mages near the bonfire. But it didn't last that long when a certain someone was having some bad luck at the moment...

"sigh... I have lost another 50/50 to Qiqi yet again...!" Aether groaned

"Well you have spent quite a lot of primogems lately... Are you sure that you are extremely eager for him to come home this time?" Paimon asked.

"Well of course! I cannot just miss an opportunity to make Scara come home again after what happened last time..." He exclaimed as he wished another 10 pull.

"Oh- You mean that one time when he hit you back in the fa-" before Paimon was able to finish speaking, she was interrupted by a sudden sound above her in the sky, "W-what is that?!"

Aether's POV

Before I even checked what I got from the banner, I was distracted by this hole in the sky. It was so big, it kinda reminded me of the Abyss... When I got back to my senses, I could feel the air getting sucked into it. Some hirlichurls nearby were sucked toward it and were devoured as a whole. I just stand there, unable to move at all. I looked around my surroundings, but my eye sight only ended up getting darker...

Aether slowly loses consciousness as the air's pressure is getting higher. Paimon on the other hand was also experiencing the same thing, but she was devoured by the hole already. As they get devoured, the hole starts to dissolve. Wherever they are getting sent to, it is a mystery...

A/N : Hello fellow Genshin players who decided to read this, I just want to say that I update this book (or story) at very random times so I don't have an expected date of updating yet. But to make things straight, I won't be discontinuing this until I finish it which is a good thing. Unless I am taking a break or something like that. So see you in the next chapter :D
