•Three | New friends, friendly reunions•

The door crashed wide open, revealing Tanjiro. He was out of breath, it seems that he had been running all over the place. He catches his breath and shouts, "Nezuko, have you seen someone with long blonde hair near-"

"Oh, is there a-anything you need Tanjiro?" Nezuko greeted him, still confused about the situation.

Tanjiro stood there, didn't realize that Aether was there the whole time.

"Oh um... nothing at all Nezuko- But hey, the person with long blonde hair, can I speak to you for a second."

Aether looked confused, "Me?" he pointed at himself, worried if he is in trouble now

Tanjiro nodded as Aether followed him outside of the Butterfly Mansion, parting ways with Nezuko. It was still night as they reached the empty training field in the Ubuyashiki estate. Both of them just stared at each other, only awkward silence fill the air.

It was not until Aether broke the silence, "I- I'm sorry for sneaking away..." he apologized in a nervous tone, still thinking that he is in trouble for that.

"Oh no, it should be my fault!" Tanjiro bowed his head down, "I just want to know if you were alright so you're not in trouble-"

"Oh..." he sighed in relief

The awkward silence came again. But this time, it was a loud noise shouting, "LAMENT!" outside of the estate. Aether recognized the voice and ran where ever the voice was. Eventually he got out after many rooms he has to go through. Tanjiro was behind him and it seems that he thought it was a demon nearby. 

When they got to the location, they were greeted by Xiao, defeating the lowly ranked demons while he was using his elemental burst.

"Xiao?" Aether called out as his stamina depleted.

Xiao's mask disappears as he got up after his final high plunge attack, "Hm, it's you Aether..." he said in a soft tone.

"You two know each other?" Tanjiro asked

Aether nodded, "Yes, he's one of my companions who I travel with, and he cares a lot" he smiled

Xiao turned his head away crossing his arms, blushing in embarrassment while trying to not show his face.

"Well that's nice that you have such a caring companion, compared to those two..." Tanjiro mumbles as the thoughts of Zenitsu and Inosuke popped into his mind, "But I haven't gotten your name yet, my name is Tanjiro." he bow again as what he usually does.

"I am Aether, but please forget about the formalities."

"Oh, sorry about that-"

"So I have a question if you wouldn't mind," Aether started, "Do you know what this place is?"

"This is the Ubuyashiki estate."

"The Ubuya- what? So this is not Inazuma???" Aether was confused

Tanjiro realized something and replied back, "Ah- it's seems that you are not from here, am I right?"

"Yes I guess..."

Xiao turned his face back to Aether after getting rid of the blush, "So did you also got sucked into a portal?" he asked

Aether nodded, "Of course I was sucked into one, me and Paimon were-" he froze for a moment, only remembering that Paimon and him were separated now.

"Oh yeah, wasn't Paimon was supposed to be with you as always?" Xiao asked, after hearing Paimon's name was mentioned

"She was but... I don't know where she is now..." He mumbled.

"I could help you find that friend of yours," Tanjiro offered, "It's the least I could do after causing you this much trouble."

Aether's sad face transited into a happier and hopeful one, "Really? Oh my Archon, thank you so much!"

"Your welcome, " Tanjiro smiled, "We should get back inside, it's dangerous outside, especially at night."

"Alright."

Tanjiro entered into the estate again as Aether and Xiao followed. But something doesn't seem right...

A/N : Been doing a lot of primogem farming for the Raiden banner 4 hours a day these past few days so sorry for updating this late to today... And it's already 10 in the morning when I usually wake up during the weekends (Along with today too) T n T  To all Travelers who are pulling for Raiden and Yoimiya or their weapons, I wish you all luck, even to those who already lost their 50/50s!
