There was a girl's house opposite of yours. A comparison could be made between cockroaches and that girl, where even cockroaches would be more favorable. You remember her, right? She was scrawny, pale, and probably a malnourished teenager. Though, she was pretty tall for a fourteen year old. Six foot two. I don't know how children are allowed to live by themselves at that age. Maybe nobody knew except for us... We couldn't, or rather, we didn't want to save her. Even though she was our friend. It's a bit weird how only I'm left. Yoisaki's house was... not in the best shape, obviously. It was filled with maggots and other bugs. Everything was rotten and had mold. I think even plants, inedible, were growing in there... I remember the first and last day we went to her house. You were petrified. Her body was lying in shambles on the living room couch, being swallowed up by maggots. You were so shaken, in fact, that you threw up on her body. I know you didn't on purpose, don't worry. As for me, I just ignored her. I knew that it would've come to this. I went up to the farthest room back, as you were mourning our loss. The door creaked open by itself, and I immediately went inside. The electricity was off and there were no windows, so I used my phone's flashlight to light up the room. What I saw wasn't too gross for me, but I'm sure you would've reacted the same as any other person. There was a bed full of arms and a tub of legs, I remember. I remember a lot of things related to her now. I got disgusted only by the huge amount of maggots and told you that it was time to head back home. At first, you didn't want to, but you agreed to it in the end. I led you into my house to calm you down, but I don't think it mattered. I don't remember how, but I ended up hitting you on the back, causing your skin and flesh to swell up, which left a mark. I guess I got mad at you for being too emotional..? You kept recalling the horrific sight you had just witnessed and decided to go back to your house. Since I wasn't doing anything helpful. We said our goodbyes and parted ways. Soon, you were walking on the road. And... You were run over... By a drunk driver. Actually, no. I lied. Truthfully, I was the one who was driving that car. But when I realized, it was too late. When I got out of my car to feel your body, the deed was already done. You felt warm, but as the blood came flowing out of your body, you became colder. I went back to Yoisaki's house a few months back. It's how I remembered it was. It was the same as before. I know I'm admitting to a crime, but I trust you not to tell anyone, Tsukasa.
I miss the warmth of your body.

Short StorySeries of Oneshots i come up with randomly. I might edit these stories later on, though. Since they're all different, they have different genres. i think these tend to have dark themes maybe.
