THE FALLEN GODDESS

It was a nice early spring morning the sun was shining the trees baring ripe red fruits as the bird sing in the trees an Avali was passed out on the ground her back facing the sky, her feathers were a golden color reflecting the sunlight off them, her tail was missing some feathers. she was covered in burses she was also with some slash marks. As a leaf fell next to her hand a red fox with peacock feathers in his tail saw her, he worked up the courage to walk towards her. When he was just a few steps away from her she opened her eyes and looked at him her baby blue eyes showed a bit of aggression but mostly pain she passed out due to the pain that she was in.

I saw the Avali fell from the sky she hit almost every branch on the way down she looks in vary bad shape when she opened her eyes, I was frozen in fear till she passed out she had some armor broken. I noticed her arms has no feather most Avail do but she didn't. I put my axe in my bag and carefully lifted her up and cared her to my home which was just a few hundred yards away. I opened the door with my tail and gently placed her in my bed. I went under my bed to grab my medical kit and I began to patch her up. With my limited amount of medical knowledge, I noticed she had a few broken ribs and a broken leg. As I was washing my hands she woke up and tried to move but I kept her down and told her to rest her eyes began to glow as if she was trying to Strick fear into me to let her go but when she realized I wasn't budging she put her head down on my pillow. I went into the kitchen and began to cook as I did, I noticed that she was looking around my room. As I started to clean the rice, I heard a voice. "Uh pardon me sir?" I turned around and noticed her waving her hand. "Yes." I replied. "I was wondering who you are and why did you help me a total stranger?" I looked at her and with a small smile I said "Cause you seemed like a nice person, and you were badly injured so I had to help. Now just get some rest I'll be cooking some food for you to regain your strength." She was blown away by my kindness and friendly altitude she began to close her eyes and fell asleep. After the food was finished, I waited for her to wake up to eat A few hours passed before she began to wake up again and she saw me starting to doze off she poked me, and I was fully awake. "I'm sorry to disturb you but if you like I could get off your bed?" I said no and gotten up and gave her a plate of food she was skeptical at first till I started to eat next to her she sniffed it and started to scarf it down it was like seeing a person who haven't eaten in weeks. When she finished, I decided to ask her a few questions. "What happened to you why were you in the middle of the woods covered in burses and missing some feathers?" She looked at me and at all of her bandages she was confused. "I don't know I really don't know what happened to me I can't remember who I am or what happened." She began to panic till I started to pat her head she took a deep breath and grabbed her tail and started to stroke it. I gave her some space to clean the dishes.

I was terrified I had no memory of who I was or how I got here. Stroking my tail was calming me down till I noticed a sword at the corner of the room it was strange the sheath of the sword said "GODS KILLER" I grabbed the sword and was about to un sheath it till he came in the room. He walked towards me and un sheath the sword. "If you want to know about the story of this sword and my past, I rather not say I would rather leave it all in the past. But this sword is made from a metal that went extinct for almost two hundred years it's pure it can never rust." When he said that the feeling in the room was sad it seemed that he must've had a hard life in his younger years. "I was wondering how old you are and how did you know where I was" He sat down next to me "Well I'm twenty years old and I saw you fell from the sky while I was taking care of my garden. If you would allow me, I can change some of the bandages most are covered in blood." I allowed him to change my bandages he was gentle and done it slow enough that it didn't bother my wounds. It wasn't till he put some disinfectant on my wounds I punched him across the face because it stung so mush. After he finished, I apologized because I wasn't prepared for it, he didn't hold it against me he just laughs it off. He took off my cast and said "You not like the others you have a very fast healing factor when it comes to your broken leg and your other wounds are healing as well and it has only been hours. I'll get the answers soon when you get your memory back but there is one question. What should I call you? You must've forgotten your name to so how about coming up with one." I was surprised he is giving me a chance to help me get my memory back, I was starting to think of names till the name Sarka came to me. he liked it then it hit me I didn't get his name, so I asked him. He smiled and said "Well my name is Preafyx. I am one of the last of my kind. You can rest in my bed tonight I have to get up in the morning to harvest some of my crops and sell them in a town not that far from here. If you want to come along. I can plan to get a map to the Avail valley to help, get your memory back." I was surprised he is doing so much for me a person that he just met hours ago I couldn't hold back my tears and I cried in his bed he patted my head to comfier me. I fell asleep on his bed and had a nightmare an Avail that looked almost like me her feathers were black and gray her eyes a Ruby red she put her hand on my cheek and looked at me in the eyes. "You still live? How can this be? I will hunt you down." I jumped out of bed my heart was racing and my hands were shacking in fear. I looked out the window and saw Preafyx loading up a cart with Green onions, Kale, spring apples and some Strawberries. I noticed in the chair that he was sitting on yesterday was some clothes with a note "I noticed your old cloths was destroyed so I'm giving you these clothes so you can wear them to go to town and you don't have to walk around my home naked." So I did put on the clothes they smelled very clean and were soft. I walked into the kitchen and noticed some food on the table, it was French toast with blue berries and strawberries and there was some syrup on the side and some powder sugar. As I was eating, he came in to wash his hands he waited for me to finish, and he helped me laugh a bit. I gotten on the Wagen I didn't see any animals to pull it till he started to pull it with not much struggle I was shocked on his strength then we set off to the town.

In the same spot that Sarka was found another Avail was there with a black wolf. "I want you to hunt her down and bring me her head she cannot be the next goddess." The wolf gotten on one knee and put his right arm across his chest. "As you wish my lady." The wolf jumped into the trees as the Avail gotten on one knee and put her hand on the ground. "You gotten away once but not this time if anyone is going to be the new goddess of all it will be me not you Sarka." she snapped her fingers and set fire to the woods with a smile on her face and left the area by opening a portal.
