"Come in everyone one by one"says Venus as they get everyone inside of the auditorium
Soon we had all made it in, sadly there were no chairs but that shows that this won't be too long
"Can everyone please quiet down" says Moodswing
Once everyone was quiet, Database walked up to mic "welcome everyone, I know the talks of today seemed boring but trust me it is not"
"Today I wanted to show a bit of what you will get into becoming a hunter" He says "of course what I will be showing will be harder to do unless the monster is trapped"
'what does that have to do with anything?' I question to myself
"I'm guessing Avain is bringing him over" Database says to Venus
"Indeed" they say
"You all know the idea of what goes on, but can you witness it in real life? In real time? When I do this, think about if you can do this" he says and everyone in the crowd nods
"This is odd" says Shino
"Yeah" I say
Soon I heard the doors open, though I couldn't see who was walking in due to all the students
"Ah, thank you Avain" Says Database "hope they didn't give too much of a fight"
"No too much once I got the restraints on him" he says
I just stared at the stage in shock. There was a monster.... He had brown hair and purple eyes. A white shirt with a blue vest over it and some black pants. Half of his face was yellow and had yellow claws
My breathing became uneven as I stared at him in shock 'flex?'
"Moodswing the box" Said Database
Moodswing had a box on her lap, she got up and walked over to Database
Database had opened the box and took out a gun
"I believe you all know where this is going" he says "if you can't handle this, leave the room...and most likely the hunter class due since you will have to do this yourself when you become one"
Everyone in the room watched, some excited
Database turned to the left to face Flex... Flex didn't say a word
He quickly looked into the crowd, I know he wasn't looking at me but it felt like he was
He looked back at Database in fear due to the gun being pointed at him
*BANG*
I saw the bullet go through his forehead... I saw the blood
I watched him fall to the floor... I heard everyone cheer
None of them understand, I felt my breath become more uneven and quicken
I couldn't stay here, I turned my body and ran... Blinking the tears away
/Shino's pov\
I looked to my left to see Artemis running "arti!"
I quickly ran after him, we were both outside of the auditorium
He just stood there body shivering
"Artemis...wants wrong?" I asked
"Did you hear them?" He turned his head a bit "... everyone cheering"
"Artemis..." I say
"They killed him...." He was fully facing me now
"I mean of course they did?" I say
"He...I..." Artemis was at a loss for words
"Artemis...he was a monster-" I stopped myself after those words had left my mouth
Artemis stared at me... His face went from sadness to anger...he was pissed
"A monster? A MONSTER?" he shouted
We weren't that far from the auditorium so I wouldn't be shocked if the others heard us
"What? DO I DESERVE THAT?" He shouted
"What? No!" I say
"SHINO I'M A MONSTER!" He shouted
"But... it's different" I say "he would have hurt us?"
"Shino...he is a kind man, a little dumb but kind" he says "I knew him... I CAME HERE FOR HIM!"
"What?" I asked
"I didn't come here for fun, I didn't stick around at first for fun...hell even now I was looking for him and....and ronin"
I just stared at him
"The only reason you know why I wouldn't hurt everyone here is because you got to know me" I say "if you never got to know me.... You would have killed me just like him... You would have cheered and you know it"
"Artemis please" I say
"No... You say he is a monster.... As if I'm not one... I had to go though finding out all the ways people wanted to kill me being here" He says "I wanted my friend die... I watched everyone cheer... I heard you come up with an excuse"
"Artemis" I took a step forward
"Fuck off" he says
"Please" I took a few more steps
"You shouldn't come close to a monster.... They can kill you remember? That's why you kill them... That's why you watched him die and was happy" he says
"Artemis that's not-" I tried to speak but he wouldn't let me "no... You tried to say he was a monster... TO A FUCKING MONSTER!"
"THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS YOU KNOW ME... NO ONE GOT TO KNOW HIM... NO ONE GAVE HIM A FUCKING CHANCE!" He yelled and threw my beanie on the ground
I tried to reach for him but he ran
"Shino?" Said a voice... I turned around to see a few of the others
"What happened?" Rikky asked again
"I..." I didn't know what to say
"Shino..." Says Sapphire
I take a deep breath and look at them with tears going down my face "I...I fucked up"
