Ditched

Lucy's POV:
I am absolutely needing a break from having two 4 year olds running around.
"Lilac! Aubrey, out to the car please!" I call
They nod and run out the front. I get them in the car. I get into the car. I drive to a random park. I stop. I get them out. I get back in the car. I drive off.

Aubrey's POV:
"Brey! I scwared." Lilac holds my hand, "I want daddy."
"I am too sissy." I grip hers, "I want daddy too."
I see a someone on a bench. We walk over. She is reading something
"Excwuse me?" I exclaim
She puts her book down and sees us, "oh my, are you guys ok?"
"Can you hwelp us?" I ask
"Sure, where is your parents?" She asks
"Mommy. She weft us!" I tell her.
"Oh, here, I'm gonna call the police ok? They are gonna help you." She smiles, "come sit."
"We can't get up!" I remind her
She lifts us up onto the bench. She calls someone on her phone. Soon two police people in blue walkover. They bend down in front of us.
"What are your guys names huh?" The woman asks
"I'm Aubrey, this is my twin, Lilac." I tell her
"Ok, I'm Kim, this is Sean, do you guys have a last name?" Kim asks
"Halstead." I reply
She looks at Sean.
"We're gonna get you to come to the police station with us okay?" Kim smiles
"Ok Kimmy." I whisper and slide off the bench, "I don't wanna walk."
"Ok, come here." Kimmy lifts me up.
I see Sean pick up Lilac. I lay my head on Kimmy's shoulder and fall asleep.

Kim's POV:
I get to the car with Roman and we see the twins are asleep. I sigh and Roman opens my door. I sit in and hold Aubrey on my lap. Sean passes me Lilac. Sean drives us back to 21. He gets Lilac off me. I carry in Aubrey. Platt looks up. The girls wake and sit up on our hips.
"Who are these pretty girls?" Trudy walks over
"Lilac and Aubrey Halstead." I sigh, "they are like a spitting image of Jay!"
"Go up." Trudy smiles
"Go down!" The girls say instantly
"Ok." We place the girls on the ground but hold their hands.
We walk up to the intelligence bull pen. Jay sees us immediately.
"LiLi, Brey." He comes around.
"Daddy!" They run for him, crying
Jay bends down and envelop them in hugs, kissing their hair, "shhh! It's ok my babies. Where's mommy?"
"She doesn't wike us." Aubrey tells him, "she weft us is a park! She hasn't given us food since 2 sleeps ago."
"Oh god, are you guys hungry?" Jay asks
They nod. Everyone has come into the bullpen now. They watch this interaction.
"We can go and get some macdonalds for them?" I ask
"Thanks Burgess." Jay replies and, "2 six nugget happy meals with a toy and apple juice. And could you gets Ruby's normal order, she's on her way after school."
I nod and we leave.

Jay's POV:
"Daddy, why doesn't mommy like us?" Brey asks, "and do we have to go back?
"I'm not sure babies. And you are not going back!" I sigh, "I want you to meet some people."
They nod. I stand up and they hold my hands.
"Uh, Kev, Adam, Voight, these are my twin daughter, Lilac and Aubrey." I exclaim.
"I thought you only had Ruby?" Voight asks
"Nope, these two aswell. I just don't see them often." I smile, "rubs knows them tho. She is coming here after school."
"Oh, uh, cool." Kev smiles, "hey girls, I'm your cool uncle Kevin."
"Hi." They reply
"Dad, I'm herrrreeeeee!" I hear the sing of my eldest daughter, Ruby, she is 10.
"Hey sweetie, your sisters are here." I reply and turn around.
"Sissy!" The twins run for her.
"Hey girlies!" Ruby hugs them.
Burgess and Roman walk up with the food. I grab it off them.
"Alright girls, in the break room!" I smile and follow them in.
I put the food on the bench before helping the twins onto a chair. I hand out the food.
"Alright! Eat up!" I kiss each of their heads.
I walk out and close the door.
"What happened?" Voight asks
I sigh and lean against my desk, "the twins' birth mom, Lucy Denville, has been starving them and then ditched them in a park. Lucy has 3 parking tickets from my knowledge so she should be in our databases!"
"Alright!" Hailey types something on her computer.
She gets up and grabs a paper off the printer. She writes on the board.
"Did she ever tell you bout her history from 14 to 26?" She asks
I shake my head.
"In juvie then jail for uh home invasion!" Hailey replies
"She has clearly been Maltreating them, go pick her up! Halstead, stay here and I might let you interrogate her!" Voight orders
"K sarge!" I nod and head into the break room, leaving the door open. I see the team come back and walk Lucy past the break room. She tries to get in but Kevin takes her to the interrogation room.
"Halstead, Upton, go home!" Voight exclaims
I nod, "come on babies, can one of you go to Hayley?"
Lilac runs over to Hails. Hailey picks her up.
"Get your bag Ruby!" I tell her
She nods and grabs it. We leave. We get to the car and buckle in the twins. We hop in.
"Daddy, is Haiwey our new mommy?" Lilac asks
"If she is okay with it and if you guys want to?" I reply, looking to Hailey
"I would love to be your mommy." Hailey smiles
"Otay,' Aubrey smiles
I pull up in the driveway. I help the twins out and we all go inside. I take the twins upstairs.
"Let's get you clean and in a pair of PJ's huh?" I smile
"Yes Dada!" They smile
I take them into the bathroom. I get a bath running and brush out their hair.
"This is dirty hair, when did your old mommy last wash it?" I ask them
"She washed it over 15 sleeps ago." Aubrey tells me.
"Oh babies, we're gonna wash it ok?" I tell them, "it will be tricky though, want mommy to be in here too?"
They nod.
"Hailey!" I call
She comes upstairs.
"Yea?" She asks
"The twins want you to help with bathtime. Lucy hasn't washed their hair in over 2 weeks." I sigh
"Oh my." Hailey helps me undress them and get them in the bath.
I start to wash Lilac's hair. I shampoo it and wash it a couple times before conditioning it. I let her play and wash Aubrey's hair. I get them out of the bath. Hailey heads downstairs to make dinner. I get them dressed and braid their hair. I chase them downstairs. They squeal in laughter.
I hear a knock on the door. Shoot, I forgot Will was coming over. I head to the door and open it, forgetting my shirt was soaked. He stares at me.
"Your shirt is soaked?" Will questions, Owen and Nat being with him, as well as their baby girl, Evelyn.
"Yeah, come in." I sigh, knowing he doesn't know about the twins.
He smiles and walks in. The others follow.
"Daddy, Mommy says dinner is Almost Weady!" Aubrey runs in.
"Ok Brey, Go tell Mommy that Will and Nat are here for dada?" I tell her
"Okay Daddy!" She runs into the other room.
"I'm gonna need an explanation!" Will sighs
"Aubrey, Lilac, come here girls!" I call
The twins run in.
"Two?" Will asks
"Uh huh, Brey, LiLi, this is your Uncle Will and Auntie Nat, as well as your cousins Owen and Evelyn." I explain to the girls, "Will, Nat, Owen, this is Aubrey Marie and Lilac Corey Halstead, my four year old twins."
"Oh wow," Will sighs, "hey girls."
"Hi uncle will." They smile
"Jay, Dinners ready for everyone!" Hailey calls
"K, come on." I reply and we all go into the dining room.
I help the twins into a chair each. We all sit down. We eat. And laugh. And soon the others leave and I take the twins upstairs to bed. I tuck them in. I bend down beside them. I smile
"Night girls." I tell them, "remember if you need me and mommy, we're just down the hall."
"Night Night!" They both roll over.
I cross the hall to Rubys room. I sit beside her
"Night hon." I ruffle her Auburn hair
She mumbles a response and I head down to my room. I slide into bed with Hailey. I fall asleep.
