Chapter 1: "Unexpected Encounter"

One day, a young man, while attempting suicide, says, "I'm not going to wait for you because I am coming, my dear," and then commits suicide.

To understand why he took this step, we need to go back to the beginning of the story."

[Seventeen years back]

[Scene: award function]

A girl, dressed elegantly, is receiving an award. She's one of the world's richest businesswomen. As she looks out into the audience, her gaze locks onto one man.

The girl's attention is captivated by the man in the audience. It's like love at first sight. The man couldn't resist being drawn into her gorgeous brown eyes.

[But she was looking at her mother, who had been absent for a long time. Her mother is sitting in the audience right behind that man.]

After receiving her award, she took her seat, which was surprisingly next to that man. He couldn't help but keep looking at her, and she didn't even notice.

And then she falls asleep in her chair because the function is too boring.

The man gently helps her sit properly as the show ends.

His secretary approaches, "Sir, we need to go."

He replies, "I'll be right there."

[He takes off his blazer and puts it on the girl, then he leaves the place.]

After the end of the event her secretary intervened, "Let's go, ma'am." Anya obliged but couldn't resist asking, "Wait, whose is this?" pointing at the abandoned blazer. (Intrigue)

[Yes, her name is Anya]

"I don't know," replied the secretary, "I was with your mom. We need to go quickly."

She agreed but added, "Find out whose it is by tomorrow."

Later, as the secretary checked the blazer's pockets, a note fell out, which read, "No need to return the blazer." (Confusion)

How could it be that this young lady had ended up with someone else's blazer? You will know the answer to this question in the next part. And, most importantly, a special thanks from the narrator, I mean myself, for reading the first chapter of my first novel.
