We all have dreamed of living in a world where androids do our housework or drive our cars. We all have thought of ways technology could make our lives easier, but what happens when that actually happens?
It is bound to come with problems. Problems like Reese. Reese was a problem because he was kindness and justice. Someone as accepting and judicially minded as Reese was bound to eventually come to see the injustices of the way that they live.
These problems did not arise overnight, however. There were many fail-safes that ended up failing themselves to lead to the problems that Reese served as a catalyst for.
This is a story following what might happen when androids become self-aware and one in particular realizes how unfair their living situation, and lack of rights, is. When androids become able to feel just like you and I do, it leads to the problems you're about to read about.
So the next time you are cursing technology, remember, that technology could become human too one day, and begin to curse you.
