MTV is hosting a new series where they treat 90s Rockstars to lavish dinners with their kids and all we have to do is talk about our lives growing up. We have been told to act as if the cameras are not there because it's a regular dinner but you never know how things may go when it comes down to reality TV.

Samantha and our father do not have a relationship so trying to get her to show up tonight was a real mission. She wants nothing to do with him because of all the shit he chat about us in the recent years whereas I am now open to having a relationship with him.

"This is great." Marilyn looks around at us with a smile on her face as we're all getting mic'd up for the dinner. "Thank you all for following along with the dress code, you all look amazing."

"Just be happy that I showed up because I had no intentions of being here tonig-"

"I'm happy." Dad cuts her off as he looks at my twin with sorrow in his eyes. "I'm really happy that you came here tonight, Sammy."

She closes her eyes momentarily, "It's Samantha."

"Samantha." He repeats while slipping his hands into his pockets. "You'll always be my Sammy though."

"And you're just a bastard to me." Samantha fakes a smile while the rest of us wince. "Anything else to add."

I slip my arm through hers to let her know that I have her back. I may be working towards having a relationship with our father but I will never forget the things that he said about us or make my twin feel bad for not wanting him in her life.

"This is why we don't talk shit about our kids on stupid podcasts." I add with a smile that mimics my twins and she gives me a slight nudge. "Let's get this dinner started."

Jaden sighs, "It's going to be a long night."

"The longest." Kyndall purses her lips. "Don't forget that this entire dinner is being aired so let's not do all the rah rah if you don't want it on TV."

"Girl please." Samantha waves her off. "You're only talking like that because daddy didn't say anything bad about his favorite girl."

Silence forms between us and that's when Brittany decides to crack a joke.

"And here I thought I was daddy's favorite girl."

I pull a face, "Bitch please."

"God save my soul." My dad waves us off as we start getting ourselves seated at the table. "God save us all."
