Three days later

Reading a document while Zaos sat in the office with me bouncing Idan on his lap while he giggled, as babies do apparently. Zaos stood up," We should probably head to the pond before your mother starts to swear."

I had nearly forgotten that my mother had gone into labor a few hours ago with my sibling.

I felt a powerful flare of my mothers ancient and dense magic fill the air as I nervously stated," I bet Juliet and Vivian regret not having any tattoo, or chains that restraints her magic."

Zaos gently grabbed my hand, a bag for Idan, and a moment later we appeared by the pond. Idan in my arms as I sighed sitting down by the pond while Zaos questioned," What do you want to do for your birthday in a few days."

Shrugging while I gently played with our son," Nothing. I have never celebrated my birthday, you know this, Zaos."

Zaos smiled," I know that is why I am planning something myself."

Narrowing my gaze at him while he smirked," Oh don't give me that look."

Idan grabbed onto my finger and put it in his mouth while I gently kissed his head, as I sighed looking at Zaos," Idan is my first priority, you, my mother, and my sibling that is being born, last is this war. My birthday is nowhere near my priority."

Zaos gently took my hand," You deserve some happiness after all the hell both me and my mother put you through."

Glaring at him further," Stop blaming yourself Zao you are not to blame, sure it was your semen that got me pregnant but it was your mother. Trust me she will die and will be the last being I will kill."

Our son stopped chewing on my finger, most likely having sensed my aura flare slightly, he looked up at me as he smiled, and giggled in the happy manner all babies apparently do and I felt my anger directed at Zaos' for his self pity and Ameria for all of this to vanish. Zaos moved closer to me as he kissed the top of my head," I do love you Selena, while we are somewhat being forced into a marriage, I promise you I will always be here for you and Idan."

Smiling lightly at what he said while I felt my mother's power spike even from here as I shivered," I can only hope that Juliet and Vivian are alright."

My fiance chuckled nervously while even Idan looked confused by the aura as I whispered," That is just your grandma giving birth to your uncle or auntie."

Kissing his forehead again I laid back on the grass while Zaos gently laid down next to me. He let out a sigh of tranquility," Why can't every day be like today."

I let out a soft laugh while Idan ended up falling asleep on my chest, his thumb in his mouth, while he sat up looming over the two of us while I felt a blush cover my face," Y-yes Zaos?"

He leaned down kissing me on the lips as I made a slight sound of surprise as he separated while my face was covered in a massive blush when he poked my nose; I felt the blush vanish while I sat back up, being sure to keep Idan from moving from his spot on my chest. Idan, I knew he would be hungry the moment he woke up.

A voice called to me," Princess Sele-," something happened the next moment that took me by surprise. Zaos moved with such a high degree of speed that I could follow but barely while I turned around and he held a sword to a servant's throat.

Looking at Zaos while I nodded," Let him go."

Zaos' took his blade from the throat and sheathed it at his hip, where I never even noticed it,' I need to get back in top shape.'

The servant let out a shaky breath and bowed," Apologies for startling the three of you," he paused," Your mother has given birth to the Second Heir, Raios, she wanted to ask if you wanted to meet your new baby brother."

Looking for any signs of him telling a lie I saw none while I got to my feet while I looked at Zaos who nodded," Your call love."

Thinking it through slightly I shook my head," No, while I know she wants me to meet my new baby brother I have a feeling she wants to rest more. Either way I still have my own child to take care of."

The servant nodded and bowed before vanishing while I looked at Zaos," Someone has been training."

"I have to protect you and our son don't I?"

I chuckled," While I may not be in physical shape yet which let me remind you I was still the best warrior in the elven army. I have only been beaten once, I took notice you have some interesting cuts, you have been training with Urien. Haven't you?"

Urien's voice chuckled from the shadows," Indeed, Princess, Prince. Seems your understanding of weapons is still sharp, Your Highness."

Turning towards Urien I smiled softly," Hello Lord Urien, it has been some time."

He raised a brow and looked at Zaos," Good just kicking your fiance's ass seven ways to hell."

Glancing at Zaos as he rubbed his shoulder," I know I asked you to help train me so I can protect these two but well you hurt."

"He doesn't hurt that bad," I severed his achilles tendon when we fought that one time."

Urien growled," My mate still doesn't let me live that down. Also are you sure you will be able to start training again?"

"Yes, I might have a child now but I am sure Vivian and Juliet will help," I sighed standing up when I heard make a cute yawn while I held him tightly.

Urien smirked," Really now," Narrowing my gaze while a powerful aura of magic surrounded me cracking the ground beneath us immediately, when he continued," Princess no need to release your magic to that degree. I was going to help you train, you are definitely rusty after being out of action for about two years now."

Idan in all of the magic releasing just moved a little bit in my arms. Smiling softly I sighed," We should probably return to the mansion, Zaos."

"Yes, so much for our break," He responded in a rather dry tone while I fixed him a look as he immediately shut up.

Urien chuckled," Not even married yet and already whipped."

Glaring at him as he paled when I spoke my next few words," I can tell Iona, I already know how much she wants a child."

Urien gulped," Please no Princess."

"We shall see Urien," I smiled lightly while I nodded to Zao," I am going to put our son to bed. Then I am going to sleep as well."

Teleporting with a quick flex of my magic I returned to Idan's nursery while I gently laid him down in bed, while I stifled a yawn myself and returned to my room before returning to my room as well, climbing in bed the next moment I closed my eyes and immediately fell back to sleep.
