Third person's pov

UNTIL.

His eyes fell on that enchanting beauty smiling and talking  .The room buzzed with laughter and conversation, but amidst the vibrant colors and shimmering jewelry, one sight left him utterly spellbound.

Naina, in a breathtaking sage green saree that seemed to have been chosen by nature itself. The saree draped gracefully around her, accentuating every curve and contour of her figure. Her long, light brown hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of silk, kissed by the golden glow of the ambient lights.

For a moment, Nishaan felt as if time had stopped. His normally composed demeanor wavered. The world around him faded into insignificance as he drank in the sight of her. Naina was a vision of ethereal beauty, a goddess among mortals.

Unable to tear his gaze away, Nishaan found himself captivated not only by her outward beauty but by the confidence that radiated from her. It was as if she wore her beauty like armor, and it only made her all the more irresistible.

As he stood there, entranced, he couldn't help but wonder how he had ever been blind to her presence before. She was a force of nature, and in that moment, Nishaan knew that his life was irrevocably changed.

                       Nishaan's pov

The party was in full swing, and I found myself lost in the pulsating rhythm of the music, surrounded by a sea of people. But none of it mattered the moment I laid eyes on her. Naina, that was her name, I later found out. In the midst of the crowd, she was the only one who existed, and ' my heart skipped a beat at the sight of her '. 'The way she moved, the way she laughed, the way she talked, danced, smiled ,flipped her hair at regular itntervals , It was like she had a secret alarm set , and I couldn't help but be captivated by her every move. She was the kind of girl you read about in novels, the one girls dreamed of, and I couldn't tear my gaze away from her. She wasn't aware of my presence and I kept' admiring her from a far '.

As she danced gracefully under the vibrant lights, I noticed the crystal bracelets adorning her wrist, sparkling like stars. It was as though the universe conspired to make her shine even brighter. I couldn't resist the urge to be near her, even if just for a moment. My friends, sensing my fascination, decided to drag me onto the dance floor. Dancing wasn't exactly my forte, but this time, I wanted to be where she was. I found myself encircled by my friends, feeling like the center of attention at my own wedding. Yet, I didn't mind because my eyes were locked on her. While I swayed to the music, I maneuvered myself strategically, hoping to collide with her. It was a daring move, but I couldn't help myself. And then, it happened. My back bumped into someone once I didn't turn, then again I did thee same and turned around, praying it was her. Luck favored me that night because it was indeed her.For a moment, it seemed like time stood still. She blinked her eyes, and I couldn't stop looking at her, my heart pounding in my chest. She was real, standing right in front of me.     "what are you doing here" she asked I kept on looking at her and then replied "what someone does at a function" I don't know why I replied like this  , like it was rude . she didn't say anything and  walked to other side of dance floor. I felt so much on my chest and my heart racing ,I decided to go to restroom to calm my pounding heart.

Naina's pov

With a delectable cheesecake in hand, I embarked on a quest to locate a restroom. The initial attempt proved futile; the first restroom was inundated with gifts and sweet confections, rendering it unusable. The second was occupied, and as I ventured forth for the third time, my patience wore thin.

Fate smiled upon me when I stumbled upon an open door, and an exhaled "Thank God" escaped my lips. I entered the room, gingerly placing the mouthwatering dessert on the nightstand before collapsing onto the bed. My hands covered my face, a ritual to momentarily banish my racing thoughts and find respite. However, this time proved different, for a persistent image filled my closed eyelids - his captivating brown eyes. My irritation grew; why did he persistently haunt my thoughts?

Reluctantly, I unveiled my face, only to hear a commanding voice from the bathroom, shouting, "Stop!" Panic surged within me. Without hesitation, I flung open the bathroom door, revealing a broad, muscular back, crowned with a mop of brown hair. Curiosity led me to tiptoe, seeking a glimpse of his reflection in the mirror, and I cursed my luck when I recognized him. He was now haunting my physical presence.

Our eyes locked in an intense gaze, leaving me bewildered. Why had he shouted "stop"? His imposing demeanor left me unable to muster a single question. However, someone had to break the silence. Without second thoughts, I calmly inquired, "Why did you shout 'STOP'?" Yet, he remained silent for an agonizing 30 seconds, then a minute, and still, no response. Frustration led me to lower myself from my tiptoes, breaking the intense eye contact.

Finally, he turned, maintaining his unyielding stare, and approached me. Closing the gap, he stood merely a step away. I scrutinized his flawless visage, his chiseled jawline, and his eyes, which seemed capable of piercing through one's soul. Relief washed over me when he maintained a small distance, but then, he took a step closer, leaning towards my ear. Inexplicably, I found myself immobilized, unable to push him away as I would have done with anyone else.

In a voice that held an unusual intensity, he whispered, "I can't stop thinking about you." His eyes bore into mine, his face an enigma. I struggled to comprehend the words that had just left his lips. The room filled with an unexpected romantic tension, and I, uncharacteristically nervous, desperately sought an escape.

A voice rescued me from the bewildering encounter. "Naina," it called out. Finally, a reason to flee. "Someone's calling me," I muttered aloud I exited the bathroom and found Aarav there "chachi is calling you" he said I lifted my legs to step forward but them not caring about my mind made me turn and I found him leaning towards the door with a smirking face, I was now curious to know the reason why was he smirking but mum called so I left.

I chose the restroom in the farthest corner to avoid any interruptions. Once inside, I went straight to the sink, turned on the tap, and found solace in the sound of running water. It has a calming effect on me, washing away my worries and overthinking. As I gazed at my reflection in the mirror, her image flashed before my eyes, leaving me feeling bewildered. I splashed my face with water, and a voice from within questioned my thoughts.

"What's happening to you, Nishaan?"

"Why are you thinking about her?"

"Are you falling for her?"

"You can't just be drawn to someone's external beauty."

"Stop!" I exclaimed loudly, almost screaming. I locked eyes with my reflection in the mirror, and just then, the bathroom door swung open.

In walked her, and I couldn't believe my luck. I had been watching her from the mirror, and as she tried to catch a glimpse of my face, she raised onto her toes, looking adorable. Her reaction was priceless, a mix of shock and irritation. I couldn't tear my eyes away from her, and we both got lost in each other's gaze. She asked, "Why did you shout, 'stop'?"

I pondered her question and asked myself the same thing. I wanted to tell her the truth, my real feelings, but I couldn't muster the courage to say it out loud. Throughout this, my eyes remained fixed on her face. When she lowered back to her feet, I lost sight of her expressions as she glanced around. I turned around and took a step forward. She looked at my feet, perplexed. I wanted to laugh but restrained myself. I halted just a step away, and being so close to her felt different. Her scent, not lavender or rosy, was alluring and sensuous, intoxicating me like a drug. To conceal her effect on me, I leaned toward her ear and whispered, "I can't stop thinking about you." I shifted to gauge her reaction, and she stared at me with wide eyes. Just then, a voice called her name, "Naina," and she hurriedly left the room.
