THIRD PERSON POV
Two days later
It was 6:00 am in the morning, and Khalid was doing his morning run with Prateek
"Jaldi kro" Khalid teased Prateek as he outrun him and reach the finishing point first.
"Uuffff, ek din....haaa....ek din mae tumhe pakka harunga" Prateek said breathlessly.
"Ha ha zaroor" Khalid said and pat his back.
"Chalo, mae ja raha hu shower lene, see you later" He said and Khalid nodded. As Khalid was about to go to his room, a hand grabbed his shoulder lightly. Khalid went into defense mode and hurriedly turn around to see who that person is.
"Woahhhh, easy easy, mae hu" Major Aayan said while lifting both of hus hands in peace mode. Khalid hurriedly put his hand down and salute him.
"Sorry sir, aapko dekha nhi" Khalid apologize and Aayan shook his head.
"Mafi mt maango, I was the one who startled you" Aayan said and there was a moment of silence.
"Umm, aapko kooch kaam tha sir?" Khalid awkwardly asked to break the tension.
"Yeah, can your please show me around" Aayan asked with a smile.
"Sure, why not" Khalid nodded and he took Aayan with him to show him around the base.
After 10 minutes
"And this is cafeteria, the food here is nice, and there is also lake outside, if you want to look at a view" Khalid pointed outside and finally the tour was over.
"Tohhh, agar aap bura na mano to kya mae pooch sakta hu ki aapki pehli jagah kesi thi" Khalid asked out of curiosity.
"Oh, zaroor, well mae pehle meri posting Delhi mae thi, phir Gujarat aur abhi yaha. Gujarat was a nice place " He said and Khalid nodded, he suddenly feels shiver runs down his spine. Khalid turn around but nothing was there, he don't know why but he feel like someone was watching him.
"Kya hua" Aayan asked with a worried face.
"Oh, nothing sir-"
"Aayan" He suddenly said and khalid blinks.
"Sorry ?" Khalid raised an eyebrow.
"Please mujhe Aayan bulieye " Aayan said and Khalid freeze for a moment. Kabir who was watching all of this gritted his teeth.
"H-huh?...ah..wo.....mujhe nhi lagta ki ye theek rahega, I mean, aap mere superior ho, I cant just say your name like that" Khalid said while rubbing the back of his neck.
"Oh, hmmm, well yeah bhi hae. So agar Aayan nhi toh.........Aayan ji kesa rahega" Aayan said in a low voice with a smirk and kabir punch the tree in anger.
"Aayan ji ?!!!! Its sounds like a person calling there lovers name" kabir thought and glare at Aayan from far. He don't know how but whenever khalid is with Aayan, Kabir was just somehow also in that place 😶🤷♂️
"Ji !!!! kya.....nhi..I cant-" Khalid don't have any words to say, saying Aayan ji sounds very intimate and he feels very awkward.
"Well, yeah, that would be awkward for you, no worries" Aayan said with a smile and Khalid breath a sign of relief, its good that Major Aayan understood him and didn't take his words to heart, khalid thought.
"Lets go from here now" Aayan said and put his hand on khalid back and they both start walking, Khalid didn't think much about the hand on his back but Kabir sure did.
He just want to rip Aayan hand from Khalid
"Ohhhh to nazar rakhi ja rahi hae" Aditi suddenly appear behind Kabir gets startled .
"Aditi what the hell, tumne mujhe dra diya" Kabir said and rub his chest, well kabir is a very alert agent, normally he would have know if someone was walking towards him from behind, but this time he didn't hear cause he was too busy getting jealous.
"Tum yaha kya kr rahi ho" Kabir asked instead.
"Wo Colonel sir nae hume 10 minute mae meeting room mae aane ko bola hae" Aditi said.
"Aur mae Khalid aur Major Aayan pr koi nazar nhi rakh raha tha" Kabir said and Aditi smirk.
"Mene kab kaha ki aap Khalid aur Aayan sur pr nazar rakh rahe ho ?" She raised a brow and Kabir clicked his tongue, he hit his own leg with an axe ( apne hi paero pr kulhadi marna ).
"Ok Fineee you win, I am jealous, you were right. I don't want to see Khalid with anyone, mujhe possessive kaho ya kooch bhi. But I just cant, khalid ko kisi aur ke saath dekh kr khas kr wo Aayan Yadav ke saath time spend krte hue dekh kr mujhe bohot jealous feel hota hae" Kabir finally confessed and Aditi smiled.
"It wasn't that hard to say, was it sir" Aditi asked and kabir nodded.
"Well, ab apko ye baat khalid ko batani hae, aap door sae hi jal rahe ho aur khalid bhi aapko dekh kr worried hk raha hae" Aditi said with a play full smirk and kabir roll his eyes.
"But......I...I just don't know how to tell him" Kabir admits with a defeated sign.
"Agar aapko abhi nhi bolna to koi baat nhi, aap use tab bataiye jab aap ready ho, ha but zyada deer mat kreyeaga" She said calmly and squeeze his arm and Kabir smiles, Aditi sounds like a mother telling her son a advise.
"Hmm........thank you Aditi" Kabir said and hug her from one side.
"Anytime sir, ab chale, colonel sir nae buliya hae" She said and they both went inside the meeting room.
