ch 8| Date night, kinda

A/N: My biology test has been moved to next week, so my teacher had me studying all week just for us to get told we've got it next week.

I'm really sorry I'm not posting really long chapters, but I'll make up for it during the September weekend.

Anyway, on we go.

<Robert's pov>

I've just dropped Rue off at Lukes, I've been back at work for a few days, and me and Andy diced to go out on a date tonight, we'll I asked her a week ago but I had to get setalled in.

I headed towards my apartment and parked in the car park, I walked into my apartment and quickly walked to my bathroom and showered.

My phone started ringing, so I quickly turned the shower off and grabbed my phone, I answered it whilst wrapping the towel around me.

"Hello." I say, I can hear crying coming from the other side of the phone.
"Hi.." it was Andy, her voice was breaking.

"Andy, what's wrong?" I asked as I heard more crying.
"I... I can't make dinner tonight, Robert." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Why, are you okay." I could hear her trying to steady her breathing.
"I'm... I'm just not feeling very well." Yea, I'm definitely going over there. The only times she cries when she doesn't feel good is when she's got cramps.

"Okay, I hope you feel better, I'll see you later." I could hear her crying again before hanging up the phone.

I dash into my room, grab a pair of sweatpants and a grey hoddie.

I grab my wallet and phone and head to the store.

I pick up a few of the things I've seen her snack on since my injury, as well as things she used to eat all the time.

I grab her heat packs as well as medication.

I also picked her up some pads that i used to get her.

Look, I'm trying my hardest here.

I walk to the register. And pay for all the things I have picked up.

☆♡☆♡☆♡☆♡☆♡☆

As I get to andys, I walk up to the front door, with the bsg from the store in my hand.

She opens up the door, her eyes read and puffy and a hand on her stomach.

"Hey.." I get cut off with her wrapping her arms around me. Idrop the bag and wrap my arms around her small frame.

I run my hand through her hair. Slowly, I walk us inside the house, slowly pushing the bags to the side before closing the door.

Still with andys arms around me. I pick her up bridle style, and she lays her head on my chest.

I walk into the living room and sit down on the sofa with her still in my arms, I move my left arm from under her legs to her back and start rubing it up and down.

"Robert..." She says and looks up at me. God, those big brown eyes.

"I'm sorry I had to cancel our date."  She buried her head into my chest.
"Hey, it's okay, and I think I much more prefer looking after you as a date than spending it at some restaurant with noise people." I say and place a soft kiss on her head

"Thank you." She mummbeld under her breath. I pulled her tighter.

We've been sitting here for half an hour when I noticed her breathing becoming steady, indicating she had fallen asleep.

I slowly stood up and carried her up the stairs towards her room.

I slowly opened the door and walked towards her bed, I pulled the covers back and gently placed her on her bed before pulling the covers and tucking her in.

I run my thumb over her cheek and kiss her head.
"Sleep tight, Schatzi." I whispered before walking towards the door.

"Sully?" Her tired voice said, I turned around to face her.
"What's wrong, Andy?" I say quietly."

"Can you come and lie beside me?" She moved the covers away from the left side.
I nodded and took my shoes and hoddie of.

I climbed into the bed beside Andy, and she lay her head on my chest.

She looked up at me and smiled, I smiled back, and she started drawing imaginary shapes on my chest.

We talked for a while before she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

I sat staring at her as I watched her chest move up and down, she's so beautiful.

My eyes kept closing before I finally let myself close my eyes and go to sleep.

This is what I call a date.
