Andy was laying her bed, she heard her daughter coming running from her room, she jumped onto Andys bed.
"Good morning, Mami." Andy wrapped her arms around her little 6 year old.
"Good morning, Rue bear." Andy smiled at Rue, Rue had her head layed on andys chest.
"Are you excited for school today, mija?" Andy laughed at her daughter, who was nodding her head porfusely,
"My class is going outside today, mami." Andy smiled and brushed a few loose brown curls behind her daughters ear.
"Okay, ready to get ready?" She nodded again, Rue got off the top of Andy and ran back to her room, Andy walked to rues room and got her changes into her school clothes and quickly fixed her hair so it wasn't as frizzy, Andy brought Rue into her room and sat her on Her bed. She handed Rue her ipad so she could get ready for work.
"Mommy will be 10 minutes, okay, mija." Rue, help up her thumb, Andy went into her top drawer and grabbed a pair of leggings and her crew shirt. She walked into the bathroom and got changed. She washed her face and brushed her teeth, whilst she was going her hair she was thinking about how she was going to be meeting the new captain, neither her or Jack got the position, she was quite annoyed at that but she was goingt to try and not be petty.
She quickly finished her heart and put on some deodorant, and headed back into her room. When she looked at Rue, she was instantly reminded by Robert. She looked just like him, apart from her eyes, she had gotten Andys eyes.
Andy stood in the doorway just watching Rue.
"Mommy, I'm hungry. Can we get breakfast, please?" Andy smiled and nodded.
They walked downstairs to the kitchen,
"What, would you like baby?" Rue started tapping her finger to her chin.
"Can i have fruit, please, mami?" Andy nodded.
"Of course, mija." Andy fixed up a bowl of strawberries, blueberries, and graps. She grabbed a yougart pot and gave them both of Rue, who was sitting at the breakfast table.
"Thank you, mami." Andy kissed Rues head
"Rember Abuelo is picking you up today." Rue started eating her breakfast.
"Yes, Mommy, I remember." Andy headed to the fridge and grabbed Rues lunch boxes and water bottle. She went and put them in her school bag.
Rue came running out of the kitchen.
"Come put your shoes on Rue bear." Rue sat on the stairs, and Andy handed her her shoes, Rue put them on whilst Andy tied the laces. She's still learning and needs help sometimes.
Andy grabbed her work bag and car keys, and she looked down at her daughter.
"Ready to go, baby?" She nodded
"Yes, Mommy, I'm ready."
Andy opened the front door, and the two walked out to the car. Andy helped her into her car seat whilst Rue buckled her self, Andy made sure it was done right before putting rues school bag in the seat beside her.
She closed the door and went to sit in the driver's seat. She put her seat belt on, and she started driving to Rues school. She pulled into a parking space and got out of the car. She helped Rue out the car and grabbed Rues school bag. She put the bag on rues back and grabbed her hand whilst they walked to the school gates.
"Goodbye baby, have a great day." Andy kissed Rues cheek.
"Bye, Mommy, love you." Rue went running to line up with her close, once rue was in the line, she walked back to her car and quickly went to the station.

[At the station]
Andy walked into the station and headed to the locker room. She quickly changed into her uniform before walking to the captians office. She sat down in the seat to finish the last minute paper work she didn't get a chance to finish.
She looked uo to see cheif Ripley stood at the door. She nodded to tell him to come in.
"Hey Andy." He ran his hand through his hair and looked guilty.
"Lucas, i swear if you say, you let Tue stay up past 8 and feed her a whole bunch of junk food. I'll be mad." She giggled.
"No, it's bigger than that." He mummbled loud enough for Andy to still hear.
"Luke, what have you done." When Ribert left with the Marines, he didn't want Andy ti have to go though the pain of losing a spouse if anything was to happen, so he told her that he didn't want her to got though that, the day he left. She was devastated and had a crying 2 months old to make sure she was alright, so she had to turn to the one person who knew that Rue was Robert's daughter. The team do know about Rue now, but they don't know who her father is.
"So Andy... emm... can you get .... the... uhm team into the barn." She nodded, slightly confused at his stuttering.
They both left the office, and she saw Vic sat at the front desk, smirking at luke, she chose to ignore it and just get everyone to go into the barn.

[In the barn]
They stood in a line, lucas stood in front of them with his hands on his hips.
"19, it's been a pleasure to work with you for the past few weeks, but I would like to introduce you to the new captain of 19, Robert Sulivan." Andy froze.
<Andys pov>
Did he just say Robert sulivan? No, he couldn't have, mabe I'm imaging it.
A tall man walked into the barn, fuck it's the fucking father of my child.
I felt sick, I went pale it didn't go un-noticed by lucas or maya,
"Are you okay?" Maya whispered into my ear, i just nodded and looked down at the ground. No fucking wonder Luke was acting strange.
"I'll hand you over to captain sulivan." Luke said," I'm fuking pissed at him right now.
"Herrera, a word." Lucase said before leaving, I followed him, I could feel Robert's eyes on me as I walked out the barn.
"I'm sorry, I should have told you." Fucking right you should have told me, is what I really wanted to say but I decided against that, he was there to help me and rue when ever we needed it.
"It's fine." I forced a smile on my face.
Just as he was about to talk the Alarm went of.
(Lader 19, engine 19 and Aid cart 19 to Lincoln Elementary)
My heart stopped, Luke saw my face go pale.
"Andy, go!" He shouted at me, and I ran.
