One month later
Nothing has changed between Neer & Riddhi
It was early in the morning when she found a note lying beside her that was written by Neer,
"Meet me for lunch in Marriot, I have something important to discuss"
Her heart started beating faster as soon as she read the note "Why does he want to meet me outside? " She didn't even have her breakfast properly that morning.
Neer was nowhere to be seen Kshitija was very upset with this behaviour of them. Aksh assured her he would talk to Neer about his absence at the breakfast table.

At lunch
It was more than half an hour since they reached their destination. No one spoke anything just looking here and there.
Ahhm, clearing his throat a bit Neer continued.
"I want divorce, It's no point in continuing this marriage now" he said looking sidewise avoiding her, as he don't have guts to face her.
Spoon fell from Riddhi's hand as she did not expect that coming.
"W..w...why ???" she asked stuttering.
This time Neer started laughing bitterly
Riddhi hung her head down in shame
Neer again started "Why??"
"Are you serious!! after whatever happened between us you still have this question," he said banging his hand on the table. Riddhi shuddered a bit at his behavior.
After taking a deep breath he continued "Listen, Riddhi, it's done I cannot take it further I want a divorce that's it"
He forwarded an envelope towards her "I have signed it you also do the same ASAP, I believe their no further discussion needed on this topic. Do sign it by evening I will hand over it to the lawyer, I have an important meeting and am leaving, you finish your lunch and go home" He stood up gazing at his watch without further glancing her he left looking at his watch.
Tears started rolling from her eyes this was not something she had expected.
What will I do now?
What is my fault?
Where will I go?
How can he be so rude?
How will I face my family now?
She was numbly looking at the envelope. There were so many questions running on her mind to which she had no answers. She did not expect Neer to be this rude. How can he take this decision alone? They both had the alliance then who is he to decide? , it's not even been 2 months since their marriage.
